Gregory's Gourmet Desserts, Oakland CA

Gregory's dessert doesn't have the 'oomph' factor anymore. Ordered their brownie few months back and it wasn't as chewy and gooey as it used to be. It was my absolute favorite. Wanted to give it another chance so ended up ordering 8up cake and few other treats and I can definitely tell they don't taste the same. Their standard/quality has definitely gone down. So disappointed.

Friday June 23rd at 4: 30 saying this because I didn't get the rude young man's name. The kids were excited to pick a dessert and didn't read the faded writing on the glass. He threw up his hands and rolled his eyes saying please let us get the desserts for you. Using his finger pointing at every word.
No matter how good the food, drinks, or desserts are people won't come back with that Kind of customer service.

Maybe I just went on a bad day. The cashier/other workers were rude and distracted by their phones. I ordered a savory pastry, and they gave me one that had jelly on it from the pastry it was sitting next to. Unfortunately, the bread was mushy and bland. The cookies tasted stale.

My family been baking for 30+ years on the east coast and I can attest these desserts are fire. I’ve had the cookies, cheesecakes and cobbler. They are a little sweet, but that’s how Americans take dessert. The cobbler is especially fire. Warm it and top with vanilla bean ice cream and you’ve got a real treat.
