Ooof - good till it wasn’t. Joseph was the best stylist in this place. Now they about to charge $70 a fade starting in October must be struggling pretty hard here. Might be all the time spent on doing one cut while making the next wait (wait ALWAYS an issue here). Would look for other more affordable cuts before coming here.

I love this place! The stylista are suoer nice, venue is super chill and well air conditioned and the staff definitely knows what they are doing when it comes to cutting and styling

I recently moved to Los Angeles! I was seeing a barber in Indiana to do my fade etc and I also had a lady cut my hair. When I moved out here I was hoping to find a one stop shop. I looked around for places based off reviews and I found Grey Matter. Not only is the name cool as hell, so are the barbers. I called the shop to discuss who I should see based off my current style. Karlo came highly recommended to me by Sirag based off his experience level. I let Karlo do his thing and I don't think I've ever looked so fresh. Definitely my new place.

Liam is the best! I just got my first cut here and this is by far my favorite haircut ever. Liam took the time to give me the perfect cut and make sure I loved the length and everything about it. Will be back soon!

Liam is the king of cuts. Came in not knowing what I wanted and after a quick discussion of roughly what I was looking for he went to work and the result was exceptional. He truly will not send you out without making sure you’re happy with the final result. Highly recommend.

Im new to LA. So ive been doing the whole barbershop search for about 6 months now. I went to a bunch of shops. Everyone has been generic and alright. But these guys are so good. Lizette is the barber I've been going to. Every haircut is on point. There's not a thing to complain about. One day they were running late so Lizette trim my beard for free and the owner gave me free product. Awesome group of people. I couldnt recommend it enough.

My husband had the best experience thanks to Liam! This is definitely the best his hair has looked and Liam was so nice and accommodating. We will definitely be rebooking!

I asked for a cut that for me was not complicated.but they did not do it well and now I have a bad experience in that place. I give it 2 stars because it seemed like a good location but dangerous

I went to Grey Matter for the first time today and had my haircut by Liam. By far the best fade I’ve ever had! He’s funny too! I scheduled my appointment the day before and got the last appointment of the day. The shop is immaculately clean and the staff are friendly and welcoming. He’s definitely made me a repeat customer.

Liam is amazing! His quality and service is top tier. I higher recommend him and he’s truly an angel. 10/10 experience!
