Griffith Park reviews
11 360° view of Los Angeles. It was very.crowded when I did the drive by but overall a great view of Los Angeles. That $10 bucks an hour for public parking is very steep tbh.
Will be back to check out the indoors and will update afterwards.
Planetarium DOESN'T allow kids aged less than 5 years. Otherwise good place with lots of informative exhibits. Great view of downtown!
My place too relax and enjoy nature.i love It been going their since I was 9years old.now.im 38.im their 24/7.
Griffith Park is always a good choice and venue to spend a day. You could golf, visit the zoo, museum, or planetarium, hike, ride horses and more. Parking is no longer free during most of the day, Public transportation can get you there.
WAY better than I was expecting! I had no idea that this place was such a gem. I was able to get parking right out front. The shows were fantastic. The only thing that could be better is the food area.
Went on the weekend, parking was 8 dollars an hour. The planetarium is amazing and something everyone must experience. 3 hours is a good amount of time needed. Let's not forget is gives you the best view of Los Angeles. Don't be afraid to bring lunch and have a picnic on the front lawn.
This is the most magical place in Los Angeles and probably the entire United States.
The panoramic views are a sight not to be missed. The observatory is the finest and most romantic on the planet.
There's not much I can say about Griffith Observatory that hasn't already been said more eloquently a thousand times before.
If you are visiting or live in LA and don't frequently visit Griffith, you are really missing out on the best the world has to offer.
I took my dog here on the weekend and we had a great time! The parking situation is a little confusing (because it's so crowded). The hike up to the observatory was nice. It was a little over a mile from the parking lot. The views were nice too, but so smoggy. We were going to hike to the Hollywood sign, but the walk just to the observatory turned out to be longer than expected and it was already getting dark.
From every visit, there is plethora of things we can learn from here. Extraordinary views of the city can be seen from here.
It's a hidden gem in so-cal.one of our families favorite science museum/observatory.the exhibits are very engaging and high quality.the planetarium is amazing, very comfy seats, shows are all exceptional.the staff is very friendly and helpful.you can spend several hours easily just inside the building.don't miss out on the show at downstairs auditorium, very informative show (just like the exhibits) about the history of this place.parking is limited, so plan to park at the foothills (by Greek theater) and take the bus (dash). Highly recommend it for anyone who has some interest in physics and astronomy.the telescope viewing in the night is not to be missed.you only pay for planetarium show, everything else is free. Thank you Mr. Griffith for this amazing gift to mankind.
This review is specific to The Observatory.
A really fun education about our planet, solar system and universe. The video presentations are worth paying for. The quality of the videos and the live narration are top notch. Be aware parking is tough. Expect to park in a lower lot and use the shuttle bus or be prepared to walk up some steep hills.
The art deco design and architecture from the 1930's make this a great stop on your tour of Los Angeles. From the property you can see the Hollywood sign, the ocean and most of Los Angeles.
