Griff's BBQ & Grill, Copperopolis CA

My friends and I stopped here last minute on a Saturday after a camping trip and are so glad we went.the food, drinks, and experience were perfect. The brisket was some of the best I have ever had: soft, moist, and flavored just right. The ribs were also excellent. The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a BBQ joint and the staff was attentive and helpful and the food came out quickly.

We stop here on the way back from Murphy's as a last treat. Great ribs, brisket and sausages (spicy). Lots of choices for sides and they are all good. Strong beer selection, outside dining in the quaint old timey town of Copperopolis. Their patio faces town square.

To say your establishment is closed at 7: 30p when in fact you close at 8p. This is poor customer service.
The only reason for a 2 star instead of 0, is the awesome food.
No excuse for behavior like thus.

Somewhat smaller (inside) than expected, the staff, menu and full bar makes up for the small space. Open, friendly environment! A favorite of locals. Food was fresh, well prepared and very tasty! The onion rings were perfect! A little far and out of the way for most travelers, the location is well worth the stop when in the area!

Their portobello burger was the best vegetarian burger I've ever had! It had green apple slices, goat cheese, sautéed onions, and delicious mayo. Their garlic fries were perfect-not too salty or garlicky, just right. Super friendly staff. Just be sure to get there early before they run out of their brisket burger for the day uf thats what you've got a hankering for.

Very good food, decent price point, interior is nice, wait staff attentive. Overall, a very good experience.

Awesome dinner and dessert with my beautiful wife this evening. Brisket plate is wonderful, comes with 2 sides. Cheese Burger n Onion Rings is fantastic.

In route to Murphy, Ca. This Spot was in our route, right off the highway. Copperopolis, CA small town with nice shops, friendly people & Griffs BBQ & Grill is a must stop to eat. We had the brisket sandwiches recommended by our server, coleslaw, potato salad, chili beans. Server knows what's good, the whole menu she said can't go wrong, and she wasn't lieing. We ordered ribs & pulled pork to go, can't wait to try. Highly recommend eating here, clean environment, good tasting food, great friendly service, and reasonable price for the portion, we left full. We will be back & let friends/ family, & whoever listens know this is the spot for bbq. You won't regret it.

Love going to Griff's, every time I'm on the area I visit. I had the nachos with pulled pork and BBQ Beef. There is so much I had enough for breakfast the next day.

Recommend on the Black & Blue one and the Brisket burger! Garlic fries are a MUST.

Food was good. We came after a large group was there. So it took quite a while to get our food. Had small children so it made it harder to wait. Since we weren't told how long it would be. All in all it was good.

Really disappointed. Was looking forward to the famous garlic fries and it wasn’t it. For $20 for two fries it was dissatisfying! What happened to the overload of garlic and Parmesan? ! I got overcooked fries and dried up hard clustered Parmesan cheese and no garlic. I even asked for extra garlic. ‍️

Great Bbq. The only restaurant open on Easter. Brisket sandwich and half chicken. They know their business.
