Grizzly River Run reviews
12Ride broke down for about 25 minutes but at least the line was in the shade making it more bearable.
Fun to ride but you will defiantly get wet so, go to CVS and buy one of rain covers before riding!
World of Disney May have rain coats (probably)
Super fun ride. Waited only about 30 minutes. The ride gets you a little wet but that makes it a better experience. Would recommend going on this ride on a sunny hot day so the water can dry off after the ride. I ended up riding this ride 3 times. Amazing!
Grizzly river run is a very extreme ride because when you are on it it feels like you are actually in a alpine forest. Definately nailed it with this one. Five stars
First time to Disney California Adventure Park on 6/8/2023. My husband and 8 year old loved the Grizzly River Run Ride. I knew they were going to get wet on the ride, so before they got in line for it, I collected their hats, sunglasses, smartphones, and anything else that needed to be kept dry and placed them in my backpack. Now if everyone in your party is going on the ride, there are lockers next to the ride to store anything you want to keep dry - just don't forget to come pick them back up after the ride! Note that if you sit by the entrance to the raft, where there is an opening instead of a chair, then you will get the wettest (which is what happened to my son - he was soaked!) It was a warm day so my family dried off just fine walking around. If its a colder time of year or at night, bring extra clothing and store them in a locker at the main entrance in case you are having trouble drying off. Also I suggest that you wear water friendly shoes to the park, which is what my husband did and they dried off much faster than my son's regular shoes. Some people even brought or bought parkas to wear on the ride. On a personal note, I did not go on this ride because it had both drops and spins which make me very ill. Our wait time for the ride was about 15-20 minutes which was more than reasonable.
This ride is very cool. It’s really cool to have a ride in the water and to get wet. The wait time was 20 minutes and the ride was totally worth it. The drop at the end is very fun and fast which makes it thrilling. Another cool thing is the tube spins which makes it even more fun. I recommend this ride to people who like to get wet and if you want to go to some other cool rides after it’s very close to Pixar pier so even the location makes it great too!
This ride is not only enjoyable but it is so refreshing on a hot day. I definitely recommend wearing ponchos when possible though. My 9yo son was pretty worried about the hills before riding, but ended up loving it.
Kind of a basic river rapid ride that you would find at most amusement parks. Didn't find any theming that stood out that screamed "Disney. " It is a fun ride, and you will most likely get very wet, so be prepared.
We all like this ride. We normally ride this each time we come to Disneyland. It’s especially nice to ride on super hot days because you’ll get soaked. The grizzly bear in the mountain is pretty cool looking and it has lots of waterfalls and things around the mountain which mists areas and feels nice when it’s running.
DISCLAIMER: I haven’t been there since when I was born because Grizzly River Run is located at Los Angeles, California, United States. I am from Philippines, born from Makati on October 26,2005 - Wednesday. I live now in Quezon City Philippines since year 2010.
The line is usually long and hot and the ride is cold and leaves you wet for hours. Idk why but it's fun
One if not the best tube water ride for the theme and how well it is done. The lines can be long but they have single rider. The also have lookers for stuff as well.
