Grocery Outlet reviews
18Made a purchase and needed to use restroom and they said they don’t have a bathroom. Asked to speak to manager because that can’t be right. Then he changed the narrative saying it’s No working bathroom. But there’s one for them to use. Most grocery stores have the same bathroom for employees and customers and the store manager refused to let me use the bathroom after I made a purchase here in town visiting and not a good experience.
Love this place They have a little bit of everything. For Christmas it was awesome. I found alot of discount Christmas gifts
Always a great experience going into Grocery Outlet. Good products fair prices it's a winn, Winn situation. One of my favor stores for all kinds of shopping.
Great prices and great deals, but the security guard keepes following me thru the store and when I went to budget my things a cashier was very rude to me that I didn't let her ring my items.this happened three times already.
Good staff here and good prices. If you are on a budget this is the place to go. Just don't expect your favorite item to always be here.
Always always always come here before you go to Costco. I've gotten an entire wheel of Brie cheese for 5 bucks. The kind that is bigger than your face.
If you are into the no meat diet they have sections reserved to that and it's been great
Oh and ice cream selection is on point
Prices are OK ova BUT NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS.
Not fun when you arrive and want to take care of business before shopping! Less so when nearest bathrooms are in restaurants that normally have you buy something for the privilege
Good place to pick up cheap groceries and household products. Wine selection is diverse, while still in the affordable price range. There are usually great bargains on baked goods, such as fresh baked cookies by the dozen or pies on holiday sale. Cheap prices usually attract larger crowds, so weekends tend to get busy with long checkout lines. There are no self checkout stations. It's best to avoid doing quick grocery runs or stopping by just to pick up drinks at the busiest times.
We love this place! They have name brand products, and many other items you would find in big name stores. And shopping here saves us noney.
To the cashier who denied my family alcohol tonight, shame on you. Its not your job to police grown adults who are of legal age to purchase alcohol. This cashier denied both my nephew who is in his 30s and my husband also in his 30s. To the manager of this location please train your staff to be able to read id's from folks visiting from another country and not tell folks there is a "threshold" to purchase alcohol. As far as I know its 21 and over regardless where youre from! We ended up purchasing our alcohol at trader Joe's and we will probably never shop here again.
This is my first time in this grocery outlet I usually go to the one in Pacifica. The store was a little crowded but there was enough check stands open. Their shelves were well stocked. And the employees were exceptionally nice when asked for something was they stopped what they were doing to tell you where it was at. But definitely suggest this grocery outlet
It's a fun place to shop with neat surprises. Sometimes there are limited edition products and those are always fun! (Photo is one of their fun limited time items that was on the shelf today. July 29,2022)
What we have today is most precious.
The past is already gone and the future is yet
to come. Therefore, we must seize the present
moment, leave the past behind, and look
forward to the future. Only then will our
hearts be like the ocean vast and
boundless.
Shopped this Monday morning, but would discourage from shopping on Mondays as they are restocking. There were no rolls of plastic bags for produce items. Inquired from staff and told no plastic bags. I had roma tomatoes rolling around in my cart. I am sure check out staff did not appreciate produce not in bags as they must weigh items to obtain price.
Updating my review.new staff, that are actually friendly. The security guard makes me feel uncomfortable but nothing too crazy. More options in the health and beauty section. But nothing spectacular in the food prices
Prices do not seem nearly as much a bargain relative to Safeway/Lucky. I'm not just referring to recent price spikes everywhere. One needs to be selective in what one buys here, and check expiration dates of perishable items. I'm also leery of any refrigerated purchases made in their stores. Having had bad experiences several times, and from three of their stores, I will not buy any of their refrigerated or readily perishable frozen stuff.
I love this store! They have outstanding prices on all kinds of goods. The selection is pretty good and the employees are helpful. The kind of items you find here may vary the selection is not super consistent but outstanding prices on many items is a good trade- off. The non-food items are constantly changing but you can definitely get some steals.
Fantastic place to go for deli meats and cheeses. You can buy great frozen foods here. I purchased a large frozen pizza for a $1.99.
Keep your eye open for incredible bargains but it's a hidden miss at times. I love this place during the holidays, you can buy a great bottles of wine and craft beers for a fraction of the cost they would be anywhere else. I love the grocery outlet!
Really love this supermarket. So let me go into detail. Before I start, you should know that i love grocery shopping and cook 99% of my meals. That being said, I love the variety and prices. Because of the type of store they are, they do not have a big selection and no guarantee that they will carry the same item again; meaning that they always have something new. This is fantastic, as i enjoy being exposed to new item and it makes cooking with said items great, since it keeps the meal menu variable. The other benefit is their prices. After going to almost every grocery store within a 5 mile radius, I settled on this one as i found them to be the most reasonable. However, that does not mean that I do not have to shop elsewhere for items that i cannot do without. For example, my coffee. Still, i am able to find almost all of my groceries there. There produce is nice and have all the must haves for most recipes. The meat selection is small but varied. If anything else, i think they are worth a trip.
