You can get your license here, but they do not give reliable info about the rules and regulations. Make sure you read up otherwise you might think it is a day you don't need a license when you actually do.

Went in one day to rent abalone equipment. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, when came back to return gear as staff said to do, a different woman was working and she did not honor this agreement. Moreover, she was very unpleasant about it.

Not the greatest selection of camping supplies, but there are plenty of other things to see here. They also have nice clerks.
