I Went to purchase a ukulele for my son and had a really nice staff member (Lenis. J K) Kim
helped us find the correct brand.great experience to go in to a store and meet staff members who are awesome very helpful

The first time I went with my nephews who are in their school's marching band I went in the early afternoon, about a month ago.there were 2 girls working and one of them, shorter, long hair in a ponytail was very nice and knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
The second time I went in, was late in the evening a couple weeks ago and there where several guys working behind the counter just chit chatting. I asked a question and was pointed towards the direction of where I should look. The guys just stared at me like I was interrupting their chat. I went over to where one Hispanic guy pointed at and when I couldn't find what I needed (I have no music training myself) I felt like I had to beg for one of the guys to come help me find what I was looking for. Customer service lacks in all these "gentlemen" working that evening.

Abrahan, Benjamin e Sage helped me with huge problem in my blue Ray device that i was trying to fix a long time…They a so professional and very polite, try to stop by and feel their vibe.

Steve did a great job setting up my bass guitar (Sire V7) and repairing the electronics. He was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Very grateful and I recommend highly.

Best of all it was a same day service and Rene (I hope that’s the right name) gave us water while my wife and I waited for Steve to finish up.

The overall service was good, but the Rodecaster Pro II that I bought was purchased at full price. When I opened it up and turned it on I found that it was used. Smudged all over the screen, already setup for a different microphone, buttons and pads already assigned. It's in great shape, but I should have received a small discount on it.

Don't waste your time at this store. Rene can't be troubled to answer any questions. Bummer of an experience for a newbie.

The reviewer before named Jason was actually quite impatient with Rene. At the time, Rene was the only staff member available to help, and he was helping me with processing my drum set for re-sell. Jason immediately grew impatient when Rene told him that he would have to wait a bit as he was busy and that he would be with him shortly after he was done helping me. I witnessed Jason flip off Rene and leave angered due to him not getting what he wanted when he wanted. We’re post pandemic, and businesses being short staffed is not out of the norm. Some people unfortunately lack patience. Rene was great and communicative! I was able to re-sell my drum set to the store, and the process was smooth and easy. Staff was very friendly and I had a great experience!

Worst experience.
I had ordered a QSC speaker by expedited mail for which they charged me 80 $ and was told that it will be available today at 2.00pm.
I called after 6.00pm and it was still not available for pickup.
I called Kyle the manager to address this problem and he hung up the phone after 10 minutes.
I called again and he offered to cancel the order and told me to hold on for a second.
No response for another 15 minutes.
Called back the store again and was told that Kyle had left the store.
Worst customer service.

I'm just about done with guitar center. I would generally avoid this guitar center unless you really have no other options. Guitar center used to be great back in the day, when mega stores used to be awesome. But now it's mostly a bunch of 17 year olds working there who may be decent musicians but are not great with customer service. Don't get me wrong, I get it. Everything is like that now. But I love the mom n pop stores who give you great service. Very few of those places left. And I'm only in my 40s, not super old, but some of the young GC employees just don't know how to talk to people. They don't know how to answer questions. And don't bother trying to sell or trade in your old gear there either. They only want new gear in mint condition, so it's a waste of time for most people to take in your old stuff. They don't want it. Bottom line, find a good mom n pop store or otherwise just buy online. You'll be disappointed with the customer service here.

Bad customer service.

Only 2 guys at front with an attitude.

Try paying for something simple for my kid and a guy said he didn’t have time. Supposedly helping someone but with a bad attitude.

Looks like they hate their job

Also they were arguing each other in front of customers.

Some beginner guitarist who works here came in to kick me out of the cymbal room after less than a minute, literally, and the paper right in front of your face says "5 minute limit". Regardless, his first interaction should have been to ask if I needed help, not to kick me out. Dang.

Very friendly staff. I called ahead to make sure what I wanted was in stock. They remembered my call when I walked in the store and told them what I was looking for. Their price was better than Amazon's price.
I purchased a Casio digital piano.
I would definitely go back for any other musical equipment needs.

Very helpful staff but, bags are hanging at the door. The bag thing was a little odd. If you're going to hand me my merchandise and my change why not bag my items.

Love this guitar center. I take my 6 year old here for guitar lessons and has made great progress, plays full songs on his own.
