Guitar Center reviews
17We LOVE Guitar Center in our family & we're super excited to come check out this location. Typically, we can't shake the associates off of us. At this location it was difficult to locate one which made it hard to test the equipment. Although, it felt like nothing testable was in functioning order. So it was cool to see all the autographed memorabilia & high end instruments but at the end of the day there wasn't as much to interact with the way we appreciate from most Guitar Centers.
Guitar Center's return policy during the holidays and a global pandemic is unfortunate. They could not return an unopened item with the receipt because it was 2 weeks over their time limit.sorry, we were quarantining.
The manager Julian opened the item, inspected it, and then said the system wouldn't let him. Messed up system and he was unhelpful.
Went with my sister last monday to guitar center on sunset blvd los angeles, really greay staff working in this place, they helped us to choose 2 guitars and it had some sort of discount so we felt so amazing.
Just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge Alan (or was it Allan?) and Lee at the Hollywood store for all their assistance on a recent guitar quest. It was a gift that didn't quite pan out, but they were incredibly helpful and easy-going throughout the whole process. It's good people like them that will have me coming back to Guitar Center in Hollywood. Thank you, gents!
I Love Guitar Center! Been Going there since '83 when I especially was young dum & full o' Cu, Cu, Come again? & was directly across street! So you know I know whats Up! GC Rulez the M. I. Gear Scene, always Has Always will in spite of giants like Sweetwater so far away in Indiana
Straight-up my go-to guitar center! I got my Fender guitar here and I got other music accessories here too. They always have everything, they never don't have nothing. However, as I'm writing today on Monday, Guitar Center might be more different than I describe due to the Pandemic. Hopefully, next time I go there sooner, it'll look the same way as I saw before when I go there.
Although there was a misfire with my initial order Dennis Soto the manager was quick to solve the issue to my satisfaction. Merry X-Mas.
I go the the Springfield Missouri Guitar center a lot very helpful people. The LA California Guitar center was the same except much bigger store. I am a drummer so I really was impressed with the cymbal room. The singer in our band TWISTED loves the Taylor Guitars.
Great Flagship Guitar Center location. It has a large inventory of vintage gear and is generally a great music store along with being a tourist destination. May not get too dollar for your used gear though vs smaller stores. Thank you.
Don’t go here for advice, they will give you the most expensive answer.
Don’t go here for repairs.
Don’t sell things here.
If you go here to buy something, make sure you know what it is ahead of time, and spend as little time in the store as possible.
Sad that such a historic and special store has such horrific customer service. The customer service here is a bad look for the brand. I’ve had much better treatment at other Guitar Center locations.
I understand that with COVID, customer service has been impacted almost everywhere, but this is on another problematic level.
I witnessed the employees here be rude to two other customers in line before being rude to me. They are unhappy to even have to deal with customers. They should be greeting us with kind energy at the very least.
One employee directed me to ask for help in another section only for another employee there to yell at me and tell me to go back to the area which I came from. Completely ridiculous. Save yourself the disrespect and don’t give this location your business.
Love the Hollywood Guitar Center! It's always great to visit the Rockwalk, check out the gear and feel the overall vibe of this store!
Nice place have everything you need to start as an artist.
Singing DJ pianist they even help you to learn playing instruments!
like this place and continue to come by often.
My local Guitar Center, is what I've been told is the first one, and is as youd expect of any GC. Some shortages like every product these days, but they have alot more than you expect available in store.
Anthony is the repair guy in the Northridge Guitar Center and let me tell you he is going to take care of your instruments with fair prices with great costumer service. I give Northridge Guitar Center and Anthony 5 stars plus 2.
Overall helpful.knowledgeable staff.could have done with a few more staff members as people really do need speciatly advice in such a store.
What can you say that haven't been said about this place? The heaven for every guitar player and musician on the planet. Virtually infinite selection of guitars, drums and other instruments. A gift shop and so much more. And above all - the awe inspiring notion seeing all these vintage guitars signed by legendary musicians around you.
A must visit in Los Angeles!
