Guitar Center, San Jose CA

This is my favorite GC! Just picked up 4 CDJ 3000s from Eli and Trent. These guys are the coolest and Eli really helped me find the the best gear at the best rates. I come here all the time for DJ and music gear. One of my favorite things about this store is that the customer service is on point and you don't have to wait as long for service as other places.

This is the review for Patrick Hernandez, from the Guitar Center Lessons Department.

My daughter has been a student of Patrick's since she was 8 years old (she is 13 now), and he has been an absolute joy to work with. Patrick's passion for music is truly infectious, and he has a unique ability to ignite that same passion in his students.

He has not only helped our daughter develop a deep appreciation for music, but has also boosted her creativity. She recently won 2nd and 3rd places correspondingly in the prestigious US music competitions - Elite/Carnegie Hall and USOMC as a young composer.

We are grateful for the impact that Patrick has had on our daughter's musical journey, and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an inspiring and talented music teacher.

I was greeted upon entry, which is always a good sign. This site is smaller than some of the other locations I have visited, but it was very clean, very well organized, and easy to navigate. Carson, the associate who helped me, was super nice and honest about what his expertise was limited to. He wasn't just there to sell me. He helped me find the best deal for what I needed and even told me about some upcoming promos! I'm a musician, and if you are too, then you'll love it. If you're not and need a gift, they'll get you set up! Parking is a BEAR, although I only circled once. Plenty of other shopping and eating to be had, and they're RIGHT off the freeway.

Today was the day I decided to take the leap and buy a guitar. Matty was super helpful though the whole process. Made it a great experience. Thank you

Smaller than the other location, but definitely makes up for the size in friendly staff. I love going and watching my bf geek out over guitars and DJing equipment

These guys are good. They try to be as helpful as possible even when swamped. I would like to give particular kudos to Aaron, the store manager. Aaron, the store manager is especially helpful. I have never tried lessons here so I cannot comment on that. I can tell you that their service tech who performs setups and repairs is super friendly and competent.

Great customer service Aaron the manager was excellent at finding a solution for my dilemma and two purchases I made. These guys deserve a raise for the amount of people that are coming in and out of the store consistently. Much Applause on your patients and problem solving. Mahalo for your time and services truly appreciate it.

Bought a used Seagull entourage GT from Aaron. The best experience that I have had since this covid pandemic started. He was great about getting it shipped to me in Madison WI the condition of the guitar was spot on and maybe better. This is the best results I’ve ever had buying on line and only wish our local store was half as good. Thankyou

Good store for the people who like playing music. Large selection of musical instruments, new and used. Prices are reasonable. Good service and professional staff.

Aidan the short emo looking one was very helpful and made my visit very enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable about what I was looking for. Would definitely let my daughter date him. Would recommend this Guitar Center!

These guys are great. They managed to overcome a lot of challenges lately, with losing their internet for days and then having the parking lot repaved during business hours. BUT with all that, they got me my Travelers Guitar, and I'm very pleased! Thank you, Rob, Aaron, and Matty!

I am so happy with my purchase. I am even more happy with the incredible customer service I received from Aaron. He took the time to answer my questions and didn't speak down to me when it was obvious that I knew nothing about guitars. If you want to buy a guitar - go to this location of Guitar Center. I gave this location 4 stars because not all guitar centers have a sound room for the DJ equipment. I don't like to have to buy stuff to try it and then return it if I don't like it.

Robbie was extremely helpful and replaced a broken item that was recently purchased. Friendly and knowledgeable.

After having a bad experience at the Stevens Creek location (sales rep lied to me regarding return policy to make commission essentially), this location was a start contrast for the positive. Eli & Ivy stayed passed to closing to help all of the customers (even the lady that wanted to start a trade-in at 5min before closing). These workers are doing the job of 4 people and still manage to stay friendly. They deserve a raise! This is my new GC or choice (thanks you two).
