Guitar Center reviews
10Do you like getting unsolicited calls from telemarketers who get around having their number identified as spam? If you do business with this Guitar Center, they will begin calling you to sell you lessons. If you don't like telemarketers, don't do business with this store. There number doesn't come as spam, it looks like a legit call. They must be getting desperate for business.
The staff are extremely helpful and approachable. They always have what I’m looking for; the prices are reasonable, especially considering the products they’re selling (music can be an expensive hobby!) ; and they’re quick to resolve any issues that might come up with products. This has quickly become a place the burgeoning musicians in my family visit frequently, both for their inventory and the cool, friendly vibe.
Jaxon was very helpful in making sure the guitars I traded in would be able to cover the cost of the new guitar I wanted. Thank you!
I’ve been going to this guitar center only out of necessity for the last 3 years I’ve lived out here. Their workers are arrogant and their selection is terrible. I am a local music teacher/ high music teacher and never recommend any of my students go here. I went today as per usual it was a disaster and the minimum wage earning works are jerks to people who are trying to give them money.
The desert really needs another option because the low grade nobody musicians that work here are ruining the reputation of a good company.
Terrible service, the cables to test pedals with false, the raised guitars that seem tololoche and even worse, the staff seems to do you the favor of selling you something that doesn't have a box and also hit this one and at a price again and they just tell you there excuse me and they wash the hands and even worse you leave even angry from there with that lousy service
I have been a longtime customer and I have seen the customer service dwindle and their product knowledge is now practically nonexistent. I would not recommend buying from them as you can find better deals online. There is no benefit in becoming a customer of theirs. Service is bad, knowledge is nil and prices are high.
Guitar Center is the best place for musicians and music lovers. They have a wide range of guitars, basses, drums, keyboards, and other instruments and equipment. The staff are friendly and helpful, and they know their stuff. They can help you find the right gear for your needs and budget. They also offer lessons, repairs, rentals, and trade-ins. The store is spacious and well-lit, and they have a lot of demos and events. I always have a great time browsing and playing here. Guitar Center rocks!
After speaking with a manager I found they lack a lot of basic knowledge, such as what instruments music teachers teach and what instruments belong to what families.
Rude/unfriendly staff… Also had incorrect price labels on equipment that were apparently reflecting an old sale. Wasn’t made aware of the price increases until check out (after waiting a while for assistance) and they wouldn’t honor the labeled price.
Otherwise, good selection of equipment that is hard to find elsewhere at a brick n mortar shop.
Friendly staff. Good selection, but the dry desert air hasn't been kind to the poor guitars and basses.
