Good clam chowder. The rest of our food looked great, but tasted ok. We also had limited choices as many menu items were not available - on Sunday at 6 pm! Also keep in mind that there is no kids menu. My expectations have not been met, but look at the food presentation! Maybe they deserve a second chance.

One of my absolute all time favorite Restaurants. Really classy atmosphere and service, great architecture and setting. We visit Newport very frequently and almost always make this our first stop, for Lunch. Best biscuits ever, my wife always orders 6, and we take some with us. Love the Chopped Vegetable Salad w/Seared Ahi, is beautiful, healthy and tasty. Burgers are fantastic, high quality and cooked to perfection. Excellent selection of Wines, love the Mi Sueno Red Blend. No corking fee as long as label you bring in is not on their Wine List.
All of the service staff are amazing, friendly, kind, gracious and professional, just an extremely well run establishment.

My best place to have salmon and seafood.it’s not my first time. I really like gulf stream food so fresh and tasty.i love the atmosphere and the panoramic views will definitely come back again and again

I go to Gulfstream frequently and wish I could give it a fresh review every time. Because every time I’ve been it’s been 5 stars - and that kind of consistency should be noted.great food.don’t miss the tuna burger (limited quantities-early bird gets the worm here). Chopped salad, steak and lemon meringue pie are always winners.biscuits to die for (i dip in hot sauce mixed with honey - try it before just say NO! -) drinks are small and pricey, i recommend wine. Updating my review to add rainbow trout as a must at Gulf Stream. Simply fantastic

The food was very fresh, everything was presented with care and professionalism. I think the chef is making a good effort and maintaining an excellent level. I returned to the restaurant after 6 years, and I think it is better.crab cake not available in mine anymore

Got the gulf fish sandwich. It was amazing. Had my wife and 5 small kids with me. While not a super kid-friendly place—the staff was delightful and the food was great. Will be back.

Casey was our amazing server with the sweetest most genuine smile. She made the night a pleasure. Plus we had the best seats in the house at the bar top right in front of the kitchen. ️️️️️

This place let me work only for a day today and I been struggling finding a job that would keep me iam a hard worker they took copies of my id and social security and still by the end of the day they text me every one there decided not to hire me if it was going to be like they should of told me ahead of time but they did me wrong and made me drive there to waste gas I only worked 3 hours iam really upset when they we are not in the same page one of the managers which is a female asked me if I liked it and what was the point of asking me if u were not going to hire me white people these days this is why I want to leave California!

Very disappointed. I called and they said they do not take reservations for parties of more than 5 people & told me that we should show up as a walk-in party early. We did just that and we’re informed upon arrival that they won’t even seat parties bigger than 5. There were only 6 of us plus our 21 month old & we were forced to sit at 2 separate tables (which could not be moved because they are bolted to the floor) which made it very hard for conversation with our friends from out of town. The food was also unimpressive. We will not be returning customers. Do not go here with big groups. Also they are not toddler friendly in the sense that they do not have high chairs or booster seats.

Great salad and atmosphere. The bar is friendly and typically has a lot of local patreons who are extremely inviting to conversation. Fun!

I went to celebrate my birthday, it was amazing. Mi throat was delicios and the bring me a dessert with a candle.

The biscuits are phenomenal. Our food was delicious, especially the salmon. Our server was just excellent. Will return next time we are in Newport Beach.

I had the Chilean Seabass, which was good. Unfortunately, the chicken was not thoroughly cooked. The biscuits were OK. It was not hot when it came out. The best biscuits is in Austin Texas.
The steak filet I had on another night was super good. Tender and flavorful. The sole with coleslaw was awesome. I asked them to cook it in pure butter. The staff here was wonderful as we come here so often, they know us now. Giving them back a star.
