Gus' was great. He is super nice and we had a good conversation. Quaint shop but good selection and knowledgeable on his products.

Seriously overrated.the product was incredibly dry and too salty. Also, tried to get a refund for unopened jerky and was ignored. Not honest business people.

Overrated tbh. Overpriced beef jerkey but it is very tender. Go here if you're not worried about the money.

Some of the best jerky ive had and they also offer honey, stuffed olives, and various snacks. Highly recomend the cowboy jerky and the spicy brisket!

This is one of those anomalous gems just tucked away in the middle of nowhere. If you find yourself driving 395 through this stretch, say to Mammoth, you literally can't miss it cause there will be about 20 cars parked in front of an unassuming shack. Absolutely stellar jerky and olives. Next time I have to head back to Ridgecrest to see the fam I'm making a detour and stocking up.

Hands down, I'm beyond excited that we stopped here. Saw their sign about 80 miles away and just had to stop to try out some fresh jerky. Extremely bummed I didn't buy more than one bag being that I live over 5 hrs.away. Lady behind the counter was patient and gave samples. Definitely worth buying more than one bag! Store was closed on way home, next time we'll stock up!
