Gypsy Den reviews
33First time being here and it was great, did come on a Tuesday afternoon with a friend for brunch. Had their Champagne bottle for "bottomless mimosas" and the Den Burger was delicious.
Lovely food, sweet and savory, perfectly brunch. Relatively affordable considering quantity and quality, high effort and detailed decorations.
Nothing special and the bill was 17.00 for a Chicken sandwich and Lemonade and wasn't even fresh squeezed.
This spot simply knows how to treat their customers. Always with a helpful attitude. The food is reasonably priced, constantly delightful and clean.
Really cute atmosphere and great wait staff! The food was amazing. Had my first beyond burger and loved it.
Last week was the first time we went to this good restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the efficient service, with the exceptional cooking and fine drinks and with the honest charge. We will definitely return there in a short time.
The food was good but the portions were slightly lacking it's more of a place to enjoy a nice date than to go get full. I recommend the croissant with bacon, the French toast I had was not as good as it looked but it wasn't bad.
Very nice, clean & roomy. Nice location downtown santa ana by the Arts district. Great venue to listen to local artists play their acoustic sets. Good ambience. Very friendly staff, good drink prices & menu isn't too shabby either. For a quiet date night, I'd recommend it.
Love this place, always have. Historical and has so much intriguing decor. Really brings a piece of L. A's history to the public.
Great menu with a large number of vegetarian and vegan options. I had the vegetarian biscuits and gravy with 2 fried eggs and it was delicious. They have a good cocktail menu with an excellent bloody mary.
Though the menu is much smaller these days, it's always good, coffee and drinks are quality. Homemade desserts like bread pudding. Large and rarely too crowded. Nice patio too.
I really like the feel here.its vintage, the lighting is dim and the atmosphere is really relaxing. You can come here for homework, dinner or a coffee date. They have a cute patio area if you want to sit outside. I got the breakfast burrito with bacon so flavorful and a side of potatoes that are amazing!
Compared to the one in the Camp, this one is a lot less crowded, easier to find parking, and just feels more spacious.
Cute, comfy outside, very unique decor inside, lots of healthy vegan and alternative meat choices, beet burger for example did not disappoint. The mac&cheese was made with cashew cheese and the corn and spice made an original favorite have a great twist. My compliments to the Chief.
GREAT FOOD! And they have never given me grief for just using walking in just to use the restroom. Very friendly staff
Really enjoyed our breakfast, the funky atmosphere of the place, and the service was especially great!
My absolute favorite brunch spot. Delicious food, eclectic hippie decor, & wonderful employees.
Very quaint and unique coffee house. The decor is eclectic and warm.
The food menu has healthy options as well as comfort food and dessert. The carrot cake is excellent! The food choices are suitable for vegans as well.
They have open mic nights on Monday and Thursday which is a nice touch while you're there having a meal or enjoying an adult beverage.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting. They have patio seating as well.
This is a great place to spend a couple of hours just hanging out and relaxing.
The service was great and the food was mostly excellent. The only problem was one entree was getting cold.
Biggest obstacle to this place becoming a regular spot for us is the live entertainment. It was just too loud and ruined an otherwise nice experience.
