I love this salon! Everyone is so welcoming! And Lorraine is such an expert at keeping my nails beautiful for 35 years. She deeply cares about her clients and has provided different options as my needs have changed through the years. I truly treasure our friendship and always look forward to my appointments!

I have been going to Hair Secret for almost 5 years now and I love it there! I went in because of a bad experience somewhere else and Nikki helped me out. Ever since she has always gotten my hair done how I want it, thanks to her I have strong, healthy hair! The whole team in general is very friendly and welcoming. You will never step in and not receive a greeting nor will you leave without a goodbye. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a long term salon!

My visit to this salon was nothing short of transformative! The facial worked wonders on my face, and the noticeable change has me feeling fantastic. My husband and I have been going to Sophie and Nikki for over 10+ years! Her entire team provides exceptional service! I, myself, have been to other hair stylists that have ruined my hair. It took a couple visits with Sophie because of the extent of the damage, but she was able to restore my hair back to health! I could not be any more happier!

I’ve been coming to Hair Secret Salon for almost 3 years. I’m so glad I found this place. Everyone is so amazing. I usually see Sophie or Nikkay for my hair cuts and every time I go I absolutely love my results. I’ve also gotten the Japanese perm twice with Sophie I definitely recommend it if you want amazing results.

I have been going to Hair Secret for a few years now and Sophie and Nikki always do a phenomenal job handling my crazy mop of hair. Recently, they added a service called ASMR and it has been INCREDIBLE! Raquel does 30 or 60 minute sessions and, for the 3 times I've had it done, I've always fallen asleep. I have an extremely stressful and time intensive job so being able to relax and receive some pampering treatment has been extremely beneficial to my mental health. She uses different approaches to massage the head and it has done wonders to help with my migraines. Every time I get my hair done now I always make sure to schedule a session with Raquel because the stress relief I feel afterwards is worth it's weight in gold. Thanks Raquel for the awesome sessions!

12/01/23 - I've been coming to Hair Secret religiously now for several years because of how amazing their services are and the constant care they give to my hair. When I get compliments on the color and style of my hair and I always refer them to Nikkay. She's Sophie's right hand and is fast, efficient and has a phenomenal eye for what works for an individual's style, color and personality. Not to mention that she gives the BEST head massage when washing your hair. I fell asleep last time she washed my hair and she told me that she has a client who comes in weekly just for the head massage. I also see Raquel for ASMR treatments. I have a very stressful job and taking the time to decompress and experience the quiet time to focus on me and to relax is invaluable. Thank you Nikkay and Raquel!

Sophie has been in downtown upland for over 18 years and that’s where I found her while doing laundry near her old location and now she’s by Cafe Allegro and the salon is very personalized and I feel VIP treatment. She really knows what she’s doing. I have curly hair. I’ve been to many salons and barbers and they don’t detail like Sophie does. I’ve been having my haircut only with her for seven years now. I only go to different locations if I’m traveling and really need a little cleanup, but I only trust her with the shears.

As most people i am really picky about my hair and how its done. I live in LA and come all the way here to cut my hair its the only solon i've been to that gets my hair exactly how I want it Nakky is one of the best hair dressers Ive ever had my hair cut by. Hair secret is unlike any solon Iv'e ever been too! Everyone here is really caring and good at what they do! Shout out to Sophie and Nakky! You ladies are amazing at what you do!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hair Secret Salon owned by Sophie, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. As a person of color, finding a salon that understands and caters to my hair texture has always been a challenge. However, Sophie went above and beyond to not only provide excellent service but also educate me about my hair throughout the process. The personalized attention and the willingness to answer all my questions made me feel truly valued as a client. The salon's atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it feel like I've been a longtime customer. The well-equipped salon has everything needed for a fantastic hair experience. I'm thrilled to have found Hair Secret Salon, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my hair. Sophie's dedication and the welcoming environment make it my go-to salon from now on.

This is a very good salon. They’re very friendly very kind. Also have good products. I use them for my hair. I recommend Hair Secret.

I was charged $500 after a $100 deposit for a balayage ombre, so $600 in total. My hair is only about 3-4 inches past my shoulders, so it's considered "long" hair. However, current website prices show the service at $156, and do not say anything about prices varying for any reason, let alone 400-500 dollars over the listed price. I would have never expected to pay $600 plus tip. It took 5 hours, and then she rushed my blow dry, no styling with a round brush for volume which is what I asked for. Typically, leaving the salon you have the "best hair day" feeling, but mine felt flat, brassy, and overpaid. The washes are all done with cold water, which makes for a not so relaxing wash, as she explains cold water is better for your hair, so no changing to warmer water, when asked. They also did not use heat to process the blonde coloring so my color was very orange. She complained about her own staff the whole time and how they were unprofessional, as they walked right by us. It was awkward. I will not be returning.

I always have a great experience at Hair Secret. I have been getting my hair done with Sophie for 10+ years. I will not go elsewhere. Shophie doe’s amazing work and always takes her time and makes sure I walk away satisfied

It's been a very long time since 2013. I've had a woman cut my hair and to all the gentlemen out there who need a great recommendation to getting the job done right and amazing! Ask for Vicki. She listens to what you want and takes her time. Vicki has the magic touch, n wow, she knows how to put a smile on your face. Sophie knows her team and her business. I’ve been coming to this place for a few months now and Nikkay has done a remarkable job every single time. She has conducted herself professionally and I have had good conversations with her. It’s a very mallow environment and the employees have been very respectful. Kudos to Nikkay for her wonderful work.
