Hall Of Justice, San Jose CA

Took a day to find my way around for jury duty, a lot of patience for waiting and listening in a world apart, learned a few things about law, justice, and my city tax dollar use, wish there were more secured bike parking near the building, not my day dream place, but staff was largely helpful, thanks.

Interesting place to be when your summoned for jury duty. If you've never been there like I have, its a little hard to navigate different areas. Now for jury duty its posted everywhere so its easy to find where to check in, but when your called to the courtroom, its a maze, me and 40 other people were lost for a few minutes before we figured it out. But I got out of there within 2 hours so it wasn't that bad. I would prefer not to come back here ever

Had to go to jury duty that wasn't exciting but at least I wasn't in trouble so I guess it was a positive experience

Easily located just off of the Civic Center Light Rail station and bathrooms are available only after entering the building through a metal detector.

Very clean they have your case number and court room on the wall to your right
Can't miss it. It's a court not much you can say the deputies stationed there very helpful and polite.

I’m just not a huge fan of having to go to this place. The cops there are nice, staff seems stressed though and the building is so dated! Not their fault of course… parking is a nightmare most days but if you must go, remember to NOT place your purse in the bucket! Just purse alone on the belt you will get a talking to.

I put five stars, but I should have put one but I have to say my experience what's good, but very nerve racking to say the least. I do not wish upon anybody to have to go to court.but they were fair and I left knowing I don't have to go back. And I Think the people who actually helped me there for making it easier for me.whatever I was therefore was from six years ago.which is the past and it's staying in the past. Thank you for all the court people, For being people

Very old, no food or hot drink are available
You need to go out side for it when you can, If you don’t like to use the bending machine
Waiting room so crowded and we still hight in COVID cases

They require silence in the courtrooms, and ask that we take phone calls out into the hall. But then the lawyers talk to their clients all around us in normal voices so nobody can hear what's going on. Why don't they take them out into the hall?

Easy parking across the street quick and easy to get in past the metal detectors they keep the line moving pretty fast.

Just for a traffic ticket I have to come all the way here to san jose or Santa clara just to come to traffic court while we have a courts right here in morgan hill makes no sense to me waste of taxes money.

Highly secure public building
When reporting for Jury Duty, park n the covered parking garage across the street, walk across the bridge to get across the street, then go East for 100 feet to the 6 story building, go through security, then go up to the 2nd floor, line up to hand jury summons to registration window. Then validate your parking ticket if you parked in the garage.
