Hampton Inn & Suites Folsom

Overall, it was a nice experience. The breakfast menu was different every morning and very delicious. The comforter and pillows were comfy and cozy. The facilities/janitorial staff were great at clearing the trash we set outside our room door and also quick in responding to our requests for more towels and sheets. The location is perfect and surrounded by great restaurants and grocery stores.

The reason I took 2 stars away is because the pool and hot tub did not look well maintained. Our room looked a bit outdated. I usually am given an option on the app to choose which room I would like to stay in but during this stay, the hotel chose it for me. When we first arrived, the lady at the front desk was not very inviting and even when we would pass through the lobby it was the same reaction from her and a different lady. Not sure why but I hope it's not because of our race or that my son is autistic and could be a bit loud when walking down the hall. But as mentioned, overall, it was a nice experience.

The work capability isn’t extremely reliable unless you pay for the premium version. However, surfing the web and emails will be just fine. Videos or downloading files may take a while on the free version.

If you plan on staying longer, connect with the staff and team on site! They’re very warm and welcoming to all travelers. They will make your stay much more enjoyable. Ask for the manager Chuck and he’ll be there whenever you need something. The front staff are also very helpful so don’t be shy!

Dehydrated us bad from recycled heat and Air flow no moisture to keep you hydrated it made us sick

The front desk employees are absolutely rude as can be. They speak to you as if they have no formal training in customer service when you have a concern. This hotel " pre authorized " my card for 4 separate charges during my stay of only 2 days. The check in charge was $412, the next day I received a charge for $196, the last day I received a charge for $201 and once I checked out another for $50. After calling to ask why the lady over the phone was completely irritable with my questions and my concerns on why there was so many multiple charges. I even asked during my stay several times and all they would say was " they are just pre authorized charges and will fall off, I don't know why they are there". What kind of answers are those? I will not be staying at this hotel ever again. I recommend you don't either.

Nice rooms. Pet friendly. Use of washer and dryer is free. Breakfast was decent for pre made/reheated items. With their membership and app you can use your phone to enter hotel, rooms.

Rooms very clean beds comfortable pillows good only lacking is in the attitude of the employees a bit disengaged.

Toilet was plugged all night, portable air conditioner unit that was noisy and to small for room didn't cool well, I have never stayed in a room where the top sheet was tucked under the pillows so you ended up sleeping with just the spread would not recommend for the $195 we paid

I had a fantastic stay here. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and much more spacious than I expected. The A/C worked great, which is important in Folsom in July. On the third floor, it was very quiet, even on the weekend. The interior is somewhat dated, but they nailed the important parts (clean, quiet, comfortable).

Rooms we spacious and comfortable. The food at breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I highly recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites Folsom.

Near many popular fast food restaurants and any more upscale one. Whatever you need is nearby. Very one to Hwy 50! Easy.to find!

Surprisingly good given the location, next to US 50. Very large, comfortable room with friendly staff, and a reasonable breakfast buffet. Great location next to all the shopping and restaurants along Bidwell

The best staff.from GM to front desk to cleaning crew. They keep this hotel in great condition and provide excellent service and accommodations.

It was my second time here. I felt it was old this time.
Had lot of issues with the room door. Key was not being detected by the door lock.
Had to call Front desk multiple times. He was very friendly and helped everytime.
Curtains were badly stained in the room which was really bad because cleanliness should be most priority right now.
Full hot breakfast was complimentary which was really good. That was definitely an advantage of staying here. The chef at breakfast counter was really polite and helpful too.

Everywhere I go I always choose Hampton. The beds are always comfy and clean, plenty of space in the room and of course the breakfast (my favorite part) breakfast buffets are a thing of the past but Hampton still has 1. Thank you

A little challenging to find at first, but better once you know where it is and got your routine.

Not the best stay at all. Our athletic team was staying at this hotel and all of our keys failed to work 5 minutes after we received them from the front desk. After being reprogrammed, 2 hours later, and they didn’t work again. Very disappointing. The pool complex is also closed until May 31st. Breakfast was actually better than expected, fresh waffles and more options than usual. Overall not the best stay though, and, for the money, you can find much better.

Comfortable rooms, clean, quiet. Will definitely stay again. Excellent spread for breakfast. Plan to eat for sure. Great value for the price.
