I had the all you can eat hot pot 3 months ago, was so great!
But I wondering is the all you can eat hot pot allowed one person to dine in?

Great food and service. All you can eat hot pot is definitely worth it. Tons of selections including Korean BBQ.

Staff was helpful, polite and attentive. I recommend this place if you're looking for hot pot and bbq.

First time eating at a hot pot restaurant Anthony Bourdaine was right it is a must do! We got the tankatsu (sp?) and the spicy brooth since the pot was designed for two flavors. Oh my word! The flavors came alive and the yogurt soju assisted! The garlic chicken was so tender, juicy, sweet, yet a hint a salt and oh so wonderful! There were little pieces of tofu that had been fried that you put in the hot pot and sweet land's end that became the tasty tofu with super power type flavor! Oh and do NOT forget the glass noodle salad with the warm veggies and the feel good love of real food! Oh my this was an amazing way to end a day I hope to never forget.

I wanted to try a (new to me) Korean spot that has some of my usual go to items I order since I do not eat meat/enjoy doing hot pot. Their menu has many traditional dishes/entrees aside from hot pot.

My boyfriend and I decided to dine in on a rainy Saturday night. We arrived at about 6pm and put my name down on the waitlist. There were two other small parties before us. I'm glad we got there early before the dinner rush because shortly after, a big group came in and more after that. We waited 30 minutes to be seated.

After being seated, we immediately ordered (we were hungry) - the dolsot bibimbap and kimchi pancake. Forgot to get a pic of the pancake but it was nice and thin, crispy on the edges, filled with onion and green onions without that onion breath factor. And it stayed warm on the plate it was on. Dolsot bibimbap was filled with a variety of veg, tasted really fresh - I would get both of these items again. I enjoyed the banchan as well.

The restaurant is pretty spacious and can dine larger parties. I would return to try their tofu soups! Only downside is the parking, street only.

Karen, thanks for giving us a try! We're pleased to hear that our dolsot bibimbap, kimchi pancake, and banchan all came out warm, fresh, and delightful. We look forward to seeing you again for our tofu soups!

Best,

Hancock replaced Sahn Maru a few years ago.in the beginning, they were a traditional looking Korean eatery.it's morphed into a bbq centric eatery with soju bottles as part of the decor.offerings: AYCE shabu shabu, noodle, soups, BBQ, special menu, appetizers, wings, rice, K Duk, booze, desserts.menu has evolved.most pics of menu on website are out of date.click on menu button to see latest.eats:

shabu shabu for two (40) : 2 broths, 1 meat, 2 sides
-looked ok, choose rib eye, miso broth & traditional, udon & quail egg
-i didn't eat any of it.those who did were satisfied.short rib regular bbq (charged 45.95, listed as 41.95)
-asked server if it was la galbi, she said it was.didn't look like it.
-big plate, had lots of bony smoked grilled galbi, the smoke added another level of unami.ate it as a lettuce wrap with banchan, sauces & rice.
*taste was extraordinary.banchan:
-radish & regular kimchi, fish cake, spinach, bean sprout, another veggie.tasted ok, definitely previously made.
-entire eatery had water on floor when it opened at 11.
-self service bar for sauces, lettuce, veggies, spices, etc.

First time trying their Galbi Tang and Korean Fried chicken (plain) via delivery yesterday. Sadly, the Galbi Tang soup tasted like it was flavored with ramen/instant noodle seasoning packet. The KFC crispy and flavorful. The ban chan side dishes were better than both dishes in my order.

We ordered Shabu Shabu and Kalbi (ribs). They were really good. Beyond my expectation. Even side dosh and everything were so fresh. They must use fresh ingredient. Sometimes you can tell and I could be wrong. But this is our new go to place.

Second visit. Even better than the first. I've learned the system so I knew exactly what to order. The staff remembered me and said welcome back. All around fantastic dining experience. The food could not have tasted better.

I have been to this place before and it was ok. Note that the prices they charge are 50% more than shown on the website. I got the short ribs and a soup with my partner, and was charged $46! For the short rib. I understand restaurants are dealing with inflation but increasing from $30 to $46 in a few months is insane to me. I wish I knew that before and I wouldn’t have come.
