Hansen's Snow Tube & Saucer Hill reviews
15Was a fun place! A little unsafe at the top as there was no space to stand, and that made it hard to get onto the tubes. But we solved the problem by holding each other's tubes when someone was getting on.
It was really fun, short ride but fun. Gotta have energy to go up and down, up and down.
They let us stay until we got tired. So that was awesome!
It's easy to get there and enough parking.
When you pull up to the resort it appears closed but it is not! Pull around to the backlot. This is great value compared to all the others in the area. We had two kids and a toddler and this amount of time was just enough. $40 cash only and kids under 4 are free. Really recommend and so glad we didn’t pay more to go to the larger hills!
Really great location for young children, highly recommend, the guys running it are really friendly and helpful. The car park is just round the corner from where satnav would take you
Didn't stay in the hotel we just did the snow tubing. My family really enjoyed it, and the guy that was running was super sweet.
Expensive $40 per person for 1 hour. Kids had a blast.close by 4pm so be there before 3pm at least.
Good spot for what you pay for. Am sure they have better spots but if you a 1st timer this is good
This place was awesome. We did get a little workout in walking up the hill but it was an absolute blast. Great for all ages and the owner was super nice.
It was a fun and quick way to get some tubing in, especially if the weather is to rough to go anywhere further. It’s a little expensive per person for just an hour but very close to town
This place is okay. The hill is steep, making for a tiresome walk back up. If you are looking for a similar experience and free instead of the $40 a person, try kahle park. Has pretty good slopes and is a free park.
We had a great time tubing here! The hill is a lot of fun and you can go faster by linking up with others if you want. The owner is very kind and takes credit card (even though sign says cash only). Turn right just past the hotel to find the hill!
Went on a snowy day and it was very whimsical. The tubing paired with the hospitality provided our group the most memorable time. I’m sure the kids will never forget it.
The owner of this place isna grinch. I won't be back and don't recommend to anyone
Okay, so at first it was difficult finding the place. When you look on GPS, It will tell you the place is at some resort, but it's behind it. I recently took my daughter here for her first birthday, and she absolutely loved it! The only complaint I have is the pricing and the rule that you pay per person, not per snow tube. My boyfriend and I took turns going with our daughter down the hill, so we only needed one tube. If I remember correctly, it was around $40 per person, and you get to rent the snow tube for an hour. Realistically, you'll probably only be there for 30min. The walk back up the hill is exhausting haha
Overall a mixed experience.
The tube ride was fun. There are two tracks in parallel. Small kids share the ride with a grown up. My kid is 8 and he was able to do it alone. There is no facility to get the tubes towed uphill after the ride. So you have to carry those up yourself.
What made it bad for us was the operator, who was not in a good mood. He was quick to shout at people. We escaped the shouting ourself but some others were not that lucky. Take it at your own risk.
