As someone who tends to get a relatively simple haircut, I feel like a lot of times anything more than the typical quick stop clip shop is wasted on me, but truly, even with the dead simplest cut, Shy is a cut above.

Ok ok ok, no more puns. Truly though, I went in for a simple hair cut and what I got was enough of an improvement over my usual that several folks who are used to seeing my fresh cut commented on it.

An impeccable attention to detail paired with explaining everything meant that I don't just get to appreciate how the hair cut looks, but I can understand what was different from the norm and why.

It's absolutely worth it to make the trip if you need a trim.

Shy is incredible - if you are looking for an exceptional haircut, I would highly recommend Shane's Barbershop. I took my preteen son in for a very overdue cut, and Shy was able to exactly and stylishly recreate the cut in the photo that my son brought in. My son thought it was the best haircut he'd ever gotten! Plus the leve of service that Shy provides is really exceptional. We'll definitely be returning to Shane's Barbershop.

If you've never had an actual barbershop experience, I highly recommend visiting Shy and Shane's barbershop. Hospitality/ environment/ and haircuts are overall 10/10. Best first time experience and now recurring customer! Thank you Shy!

I’ve finally found my barber. Shy was amazing. I came in hesitant to cut my hair that I had been growing out for a while but they took time and listened to my concerns, asked questions, and gave great recommendations. Shy gave me a great scissor cut and took time to show me the best ways to style my fine hair. The shop also had a great vibe but Shy is what made the experience great. Highly recommend.

I haven't been to a barber so I had to look at every barber shop's reviews to find which one I'd be comfortable with and I was surprised to find out that Shy definitely took me by surprise.

Not only did Shy greet me, introduced herself, and asked questions to get to know me, Shy was also generous enough to offer me a drink! Name one other barber or any place that has that kind of service, I doubt you'll find one.

Shy is incredibly easy to talk to, and of course, her skill is what really shines the most. My hair was very poofy and wavy before I came, and she definitely brought out the confidence I never knew I had.
My cut was a high fade and trim off the top.

10/10 highly recommended. She's also new in town, so let's support our smaller businesses and help them grow big.

The owner, Shy, is an absolutely wonderful barber and person. Glad she's recently opened this shop close to me, but happily used to drive into the city just for a haircut (worth it for sure).
