Went in for a gel pedicure and was taken right away by an older woman with glasses. Service started off nice, then the woman started to clean my nails and used nail scraper to practically pried my big toenail off. I told her it hurt and she proceeded to do it again. I told her it hurt again and she stopped. The pain was still there, but I figured it would go away by the end of the day. It’s now 3 days later, I have an infected big toe and the pain has not stopped since I left the salon. This is unacceptable and I’m contemplating to make a complaint to the CA Board of Cosmetology. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

UPDATE: It’s now September and the toenail the technician pried at has now fully fallen off and has started to grow back.

The worst nail place I have ever been to, I could have done them better myself. The girl taking the gel polish off was too lazy to scrape it so she filled my nails down. Then had a different girl come to paint my nails which they are all bumpy because the old gel is still on in some places.ughh horrible find another place to go before your disappointed like me

Use Caution when getting gel removed. I LIKED coming here for pedis and manis but twice I have asked them to not drill my nails to remove the Gel with my manis. They have thinned out my nails and they are now very brittle. Be careful when doing Gel because they use the drill to remove Gel Manis which will damage your nails. Even though I told her not to she still did it. I had no choice but to get regular polish and she then did not want to do my nails since I wasn't getting Gel.

A regular acrylic fill with gel is $40. When I finished, the man charged me 45. I asked why are you charging me 45? They said it was because my nails were long. I have attached a picture of my nails. They are a bit on the shorter side. I tipped $10 but now I wish I didn’t. Honesty is part of having good service. It’s not the five dollars it’s how they try to squeeze an extra five dollars out of you for absolutely no reason. I understand you can be charge for cutting down your nails or a missing nail but as you can see my nails or not on the long side. Their business is very slow. Maybe that is because they have done this to other people. I would prefer to go to a place that does not participate in these practices.

If you wanna make $45 …go ahead and charge 45. I left a 10 dollar tip which I wish I didn’t. Part of good service is being honest. How do you expect to get repeat business? I can understand paying for a broken nail or maybe even a cut down but really …long nails that aren’t long? I attached a picture.
