Happy Bubbles Laundry, Valley Glen CA

Excellent place to do laundry. Very tidy and hygienic. I needed help doing the laundry and Amanda was incredibly helpful in guiding me. Kudos to her! I would definitely like to visit again.

I don’t know where the negative reviews came from, but I can tell you that they’re wrong. Along with everything else I had mentioned below, their bathroom is immaculately clean. I was seriously surprised with how nice it was. Smells amazing in there, and you know that is saying something when talking about a restroom!

This review is coming about a week late, but Happy Bubbles deserves 5+ stars. I’ve come to Happy Bubbles off and on for the past 3 years and it is always spotless. However, my last visit was particularly fantastic for one reason; I had just landed back in LA from a week in Portland for work, so I had a small amount of dirty laundry to take care of. Last wash is at 9: 30 PM. I arrived at Happy Bubbles at 10 PM. I met Amanda, the young woman that was in charge of cleaning and closing the place that night, let her know I just landed back in LA from Portland, promised her I would be quick, and she was the sweetest and most accommodating person ever.

Aside from Amanda being awesome, she was actively cleaning as I was taking pictures of the location. All of the machines and counters are always being cleaned. This place feels safe and inviting. There are plenty of machines for you to use. There’s free complimentary wifi. They have a wash and fold service.

You can pay for the machines using Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Tap to Pay with a credit or debit card, use coins, get change for your bills, and even do a combination of payment methods! For example, I had a few random quarters the last time I was here so I used them on a machine and was able to pay the rest of the balance to start the machine with my card!

There is a restroom available, plenty of laundry carts, outdoor patio seating, adorable laundry themed decorations throughout the location, vending machines with drinks and snacks that also take all of the previously mentioned payment methods, and a vending machine with laundry essentials such as detergent, softener, dryer sheets, etc! It’s literally a one stop shop for all of your laundry needs in case you ever run out of something. Amanda was kind enough to not rush me as I was folding.

Please remember that if you have to do a last minute load this close to closing or after last wash, do the responsible and considerate thing and ASK if they would be okay with you starting your laundry, but be mindful. Don’t ask for that kind of break if you have six loads and some blankets. I had about half of my laundry basket. I easily finished within an hour.

There are different machines that vary in size and price depending on how much you plan on loading into a machine. This is also one of the few places that has the GIGANTIC washing machines and HUGE dryers. And you know they’ve been cleaned! I can’t speak highly enough of Happy Bubbles. Thank you so much. You guys truly set the gold standard! All laundromats should strive for this type of service and accommodation in this day and age. (Also, give Amanda a raise!)

I’ve been coming here since I moved here almost 2 years. My first time coming on the weekday and I got the rudest young lady attendant. It’s unfortunate that she made me so uncomfortable that I won’t be coming here again.

This used to be our go to laundromat. It used to be super clean, floors mopped, machines wiped down and cleaned. Now, I can't remember the last time I've seen the floor mopped or the machines cleaned out. It gets dingier every time we go. At some point, there were ants in the soap dispenser of some of the machines. When I told the employee, she didn't even bother to go clean the machines out.

What happened? I suspect it's under new management because I don't see the usual employees and the old owner there anymore. Most of the time I don't see anyone working there anymore. In any case, time to find another laundromat. If you are looking for a place to do your laundry, look elsewhere.

This is a good laundromat. They also have a Wash & Fold business on the premises. There is always an attendant on-site and their technician seems to maintain the equipment
every day. There is an outdoor seating area, free WiFi & a variety of machine sizes, each one with a name like “Sophia”, “Pepe” or “Tracey”.

The people there are super nice and helpful. I messed up a wash my first time there and the woman ran it again no charge. Other places would have lol.

Plus the wifi is actually really fast so I can work on the little patio if I want to, which is surprisingly cool with the shade while it’s been scorching out.

I was in town visiting for a week, and being a laundromat owner back home, I visited over a dozen places around North Hollywood. Happy Bubbles was one of the best, it was clean and neat and the machines worked well. They should get a few more 60 pound large capacity washers, but other than that I thought the place was very good.

I am so impressed with eliana! She was not only not pleasant and alert but was always available to help, even though she was always busy working. She made sure I understood everything, explaining from the beginning to the end on how to operate everything. When she works, she does everything so thoroughly. I hope you realize what a great person you have working for you!

Being new to Los Angeles over the last 7 months I've been to about 45 different laundry facilities and this is by far the best one I've experience the tenant of the laundry facility was super sweet she treated me like she was my mom it was extremely clean I will definitely be washing my clothes here more often:)

Was there for the first time today. It's clean and seems like the machines are well taken care of.

While small the building was clean and very neat. You have many ways of paying for the machines including quarters and your own debit/credit card which is nice in case you cant get quarters.
The dryers are decent and every tenth wash is free so pretty good place.

This laundromat is always impeccably clean. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Perla the staff member went above and beyond to make my experience here pleasant. Offering good advice on what machines to use. I would highly recommend this laundry service to my community.
