Happy Lamb Hot Pot, San Francisco

I am a tourist from Singapore. I just want to say that the service staff who greeted us are polite and helpful. The place is clean.
We had a great meal here. Great window view.
I like to thank the long hair staff who retrieve and return my hp when I am crossing the road. Really appreciated this act. I strongly recommend anyone who is looking for a good food at a safe environment.

The place is clean and service is pretty great.
Meat trays were quite big and meat was of good quality.
What essentially made me give 3 stars is the dipping sauce situation - for me, a good dipping sauce is a make or break good hotpot experience.
There was only a selection of about 5 sauces offered on the menu, and none of the 3 we tried were good. They were oil based and grainy.
I got accustomed to a sauce station where you make your own saucy concoctions in other hot pot places and this was my expectation with this place as well - I was also quite hopeful their already made sauces were up to par, but they weren't.
And as I said, for me its a make or break.

Really great portion sizes. The plating is awesome and they ice the meats when they bring them out. Delicious. We had a great time.

Pretty good hotpot. I didn't care for the seating arrangement. Too difficult for everyone to share the hotpot ingredients. Otherwise it was good

I like the food the soup was flavorful but I don’t like how the Asian waiter was pressuring me into tipping more than I wanted to tip, I originally wanted to tip 15 dollars but he insisted I pay at least 30 or 40 bucks of tips and that wasn’t cool! I payed in card keep in mind. I ended up tiping 20 bucks but it’s not nice to pressure your customer to pay more than the custom tip amount. Especially when my total was 200 bucks. Making me tip extra just made me never wanna come back again. I don’t get why this place is top rated when there’s way better hot pots around SF like “Hotpot champ” it’s way better! I feel like this place has fake reviews Fs cause it overhypes this restaurant.

I love hot pot and this place was great! Very spicy, made the kimchi taste sweet. Not good English but were kind. Lots of yummy food

It was our first time here and the food was so good! Staff was so polite, attentive, and helpful with the menu for us.

Not all you can eat so order around $40-$50 worth per person depending how hungry you are!

The food was delicious service was awesome, The broth was very tasty, I recommend the fish Angus beef, and dumplings. This place is on the second floor, on the north west corner of Geary and Mason. There is an elevator for those who need it.

Very fast service, friendly service as well. The food was just OK. But it was still a pleasant experience to have with others.

Great food experience. I loved every single bite and I enjoyed my first 'Hot Pot'.
