Happy Lashes and Cuts, Alameda CA

Paula is amazing! Do if you lash artist and Paula creates a comfortable environment that’s restful and works very efficiently. One of the more annoying aspects of getting lashes is the time it takes and having your eyes closed but because Paula works so quickly it doesn’t feel like it takes a long time. My lashes always look beautiful natural. Thank you, Paula!

Maria and Janeen are gentle and meticulous estheticians when it comes to eyelash extensions. They practice universal hygiene practices and I am always confident that they have my health and safety in mind. Every visit is relaxing for the mind, body and spirit. I like to have a simple beauty routine and dislike the smudges from mascara and eyeliner. I love how natural and lush my eyelashes look and feel when I leave! I would recommend Happy Lashes for eyelash extensions!

I’ve been seeing Maria for 2 years since I was referred to her by a coworker. Suffice to say, I love the work she does with my lash extensions - perfect and consistent every time. Everyone at Happy Lashes is friendly and it’s always a treat to get to chat with Maria each visit. I would highly recommend Maria or anyone there if you’re thinking about it!

Paula is amazing! She’s very quick and my eyelashes always look amazing. I’ve been going to her for months now and couldn’t imagine seeing someone else.

This is not a real salon. Beware. They might do good lash work, I have no idea. But if you're expecting a full professional salon, this is not it. It's in the back storage area of a haircut place. When I went, there was an unleashed dog just wandering the premises. I walked into the closed door room they take you to and I didn't see the same hygiene standards as other salons I've been to.
It's totally sketch. I don't mind that kind of thing for a leg wax or eyebrow threading or haircuts, but I wouldn't recommend going with this place for something as delicate as lash extensions. It's not any cheaper than true professional salons so I don't see any reason to take a risk with this place. I let them keep my deposit and just left.

I have no idea why the business owner replied discussing the race of the barber, who I never even mentioned in my review. I guess they know everything I said was true and they want to say something to distract from my valid criticisms. How unfortunate that they would resort to that. It demonstrates even more what an unprofessional establishment this is. All of my criticisms were about the physical set up of the place and their hygiene practices.
