Harbor Breakfast, San Diego CA

Impressed doesn’t begin to describe my initial experience here. The decor is very basic but I’ve never been drawn to highly decorated breakfast restaurants. The servers were attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Now, on to the food. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito and it was huge! I took half of it home with me. I’ve been in the restaurant business for years and love dining out when traveling. This was easily one of the best breakfast burritos that I’ve ever had! The server’s name was Armondo btw.

The only thing that was a little off was that there were a moderate number of flies in the outdoor seating area.

The indoor bar we had thought of going to, but the cushioned seats were wet. It was odd but in the end we really enjoyed the food and service outside! I definitely recommend them for breakfast!

I was not expecting those flavors. The best breakfast I've ever had. I bought the roasted red pepper omelet which had obviously roasted red peppers but also zucchini and asparagus in it which isn't your typical omelet ingredients. It was topped with a herbed cream cheese. I can't even explain how unbelievable this was.

Service was great everyone really works as a team to make sure your drink is always full and you get everything you need. The food was great and fresh. Try the biscuits, they are house made and worth getting. Each little outside booth has outlets if you wanted to set up and work for a little bit with your laptop.
