Harbor House Inn reviews
15We love this place and the surroundings! The owner and staff are the best! The rooms are very nice and it’s quiet here at night
We love it!
This is our ‘go to’ hotel when in Morro Bay.
Very pet friendly and they keep the prices very reasonable for working folks. Rooms are clean, accessible and staff is always accommodating to your needs. Safe, centrally located and walkable to everywhere you need to go. Nice view from the room patio!
Toilet wobbled, but other than that the room was nice and clean and updated.
Nice view and close proximity to shops and restaurants.
Stay here! Everything you need including a patio for your dog and, a gift bag too! Rooms are very well equipped and clean. Location is perfect for eating, shopping,
beach. Great value for the $$
Went for one night. Had my husband 2 kids and our pup. It was our first time taking our puppy to the coast with us. Room was big and had an enclosed patio. Staff was super friendly upon check in. I was very nervous as I wasn’t sure how they would respond to us having a dog with us. The gentleman was so nice and helped me find local pet friendly dinner restaurants. The only thing I suggest is to open the sliding door or have the a/c on before guests arrival. It was very hot in our room and we arrived late, it took a while for the room to cool down to a comfortable temperature. I would come here again.
The hotel is very nice, clean and lacks nothing. Only the rooms do not insulate the noise very well and the laundry room is small for so many rooms. There was also leftover ice cream from previous customers in the fridge. But the price-quality ratio is great!
+ parking in the area and stable wifi
We stopped here on our drive from LA to San Francisco and were quite happy with the place. Although the rooms are a little dated, the hotel was clean and the bed very comfortable. We had an ocean side room so we could hear the sea lions from our room, which was quite cool. Plenty of parking available, and within walking distance to lots of restaurants.
The motel is located not far from the center. So everything is within walking distance. The room was clean with a comfortable, large bed. There is a shop right next to the hotel. A free parking space is available directly in front of the rooms.
However, the pictures on the booking site are misleading. The motel is by no means nice or comfortable. The rooms seem very cool, are very sparsely furnished, there are not enough towel hooks and much more. The motel is located right on the main road in Morro Bay which makes it very noisy at night. The windows are very rickety. In general you feel a bit insecure.
In general, Morro Bay is a great one-night travel stop. Eating fresh seafood, watching sea lions up close, kayaking in the bay or shopping in the small shops - the place has a lot to offer. Morro Rock is very impressive.
The hotel looks a little dated from the outside but the room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The location is pretty good also. There is no pool, hot tub, or workout facility but it is a 2 star hotel. I was satisfied with this place.
Fantastic inn, great location to walk to the water and many great restaurants or coffee shops.
This hotel is always our go to whenever in morro bay. The service is always great and the hotel is nice and close to everything in morro bay…
Super dog friendly, you’ll be treated to a doggy bag full of goodies and poop bags. No problem parking in front of our room, bed was comfortable, keeping the fan portion of the ac unit on helped drown out any background noise which was not bad at all, it just helps. The table and chairs outside were dirty but that’s not the worst thing. Bring a mini hand broom and dustpan to pick up your dogs crumbs from eating treats. If you’re ok with stairs get an upstairs room with a view. I would definitely stay there again.
Oh. They are great at texting you updates. I love that. In turn, they appreciated me texting them when we left.
Great stay, super conveniently located, clean, microwave and mini fridge, and RIGHT NEXT TO the coolest of the 9 sisters. (That big rock outside of your window).
This hotel is no muss, no fuss! Walking distance to many bars, restaurants, and the main tourist area down by water.
This hotel is super dog friendly and even gave us a welcome bag for the dogs. Such a nice touch!
If you are bringing your dogs, note that the patio is not for potty use.
The only real place we found close to the hotel for the dogs to use the restroom was across the street. At another hotel, they have a patch of fake grass and a wood chip area that our dogs used.
There is a well stocked liquor store across the street, too
