Harbor Market reviews
13Bad store. Closed at 1pm when it’s supposed to be open. Sign says ‘back in 5 min’. Waited 20 min with no sign of life
Extremely expensive and severely overpriced. Some bottles not marked with a price tag and they come up with a price on the spot that is significantly over MSRP. Would not recommend. Staff are not knowledgeable and not friendly.
Wayyy too expensive. $22 for two 16oz craft beers. It’s cheaper to sit at an expensive bar in the area! Ignore the positive reviews. They’re clearly family/friends of the business.
If you are traveling to San Diego and want to buy alcohol in the Downtown, Little Italy, or Gaslamp District, this is the closest and ONLY place open until 2: 00 am.
Here’s why, they are grandfathered into an old law which exists in the Harbor Drive Precinct.
The rest of downtown stops selling alcohol, including beer, and wine at 11: 55pm sharp.
If you want to buy alcohol after 12: 00 midnight, do yourself a favor and just Uber/Lyft right here. You’ll end up throwing down on whatever it is that will make your night awesome!
I am sure there is someone in your crew listening to you read this review who wants some more alcohol ASAP!
The people who work here are super cool. I am a local, so mention this review and maybe they’ll hook you up…YOUR WELCOME, Party On! <3
This place is super expensive! The man behind the register was irritated that we were even shopping in there. Go somewhere else!
$17.99 for a six pack of Miller Lite? That's $7 more than a 12 pack at Ralph's. You should be ashamed for such a blatant rip off scam, posting no pricing anywhere in the store. $2.39 each for generic 16oz water? Do you have a loan office right in the store for hard liquor purchases?
UNSAFE. I got a $257 bottle of perrier jouet (2 Bottles with the flowers), opened 1, was like paint thinner. After some inspecting, very certain they're using the same case of green bottles and slapping different levels on the (like dom, moet, etc). If you look up year, label, colors, etc it's not right. They also use such cheap quality bottles. Then they refuse a refund. I've reported them to the state, liquor board, and police, it is assault, you are giving people toxic roofies.
Store looks great and lighting is great but I got 2 16oz brews and 1 Mike's for my girlfriend and it ended up 25$ so if you don't have the cash don't spend the time.
Talk about WOW! I was greeted by the most friendly and knowledgeable staff upon entering the store. First thing I noticed is they have a very wide selection of beer, wine, and liquor which is awesome. I was really glad I was able to find the hottest seltzer out right now, Cacti. I made sure to pick up a couple cases since everywhere else has been sold out! The owner was extremely helpful and the staff went above and beyond. Great location, a few blocks away from Seaport Village. They also deliver!
An upscale store offering a little of everything at a premium price. They tried to charge me over $21 for a six-pack of Coronado Orange Ave Wit beer.
My Favorite Store to shop at in downtown. Not sure if it’s the vibes or just how nice the store is. Gotta come check it out for yourself. Don’t be surprised if i say it’ll probably be the nicest most luxurious Liquor store you step foot in!
Nice quality and good selection.
Open late.
Very expensive.
$48 for 2 six packs of craft beer and a bag of chips.
Harbor Market is the most amazing liquor store in all of downtown San Diego every time I come to San Diego this is the only store that I shop at they have the most amazing selection of liquor beer wine snacks and smokes. They are also known to have the best customer service and they are also open from 7 AM to 2 AM which is the only store that sells alcohol after 10 PM in all of downtown San Diego.
