Hari Om Shri Ram Indian Cuisine reviews
29I visited in Jan 2020 but forgot to leave a review. It was such a great experience that I felt I should post this. The food was awesome and the staff/owner was very inviting. They even offered to give more than what was on the menu. Definitely a must stop in the area.
Had one of the best Indian food. Specially saag paneer and naan. Everything organic and fresh. Been to all the Bay Area Indian places but this in definitely in one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to. Go for Thali.
Great place, friendly owner Mr Sharma
From start to finish, we received absolutely exceptional service. We felt very welcomed, were constantly attented to, and the food was DELICIOUS! Both the butter chicken and tiki masala were fresh, hearty, and delectable. Combined with the garlic naan, and vegetable sides, there are simply no words. Would highly recommend this destination to anybody visiting the Mt. Shasta area, particularly after a long day of hiking and sightseeing. You will not be dissapointed.
I am Indian and it's very easy to screw up Indian food. Hari Om Shri Ram Indian Cuisine hits all the spice notes. The food is delicious. It's also not crazy spicy. You can taste the ingredients. I find this almost like home cooked food I used to get back in Delhi. Very nice place. I recommend this highly. 5 STARS!
What a wonderful lunch experience. The vegetarian lunch special was fabulous, full of flavor and unique texture. A delightful meal, and plenty of it. I will be back.
Taste not very good
Cleanliness not upto the mark
Prices are too high $21 buffet
May be they are charging too much because it's the only indian restaurant in that area but they should have that quality of food then
I found Nirvana in Mt. Shasta. The food and service were sublime. The chef was taking a break and had made herself a watermelon with rose water smoothie and brought me a glass of it. And it was on the house. It will be my go to every time I pass by.
Nice little spot, stopped in with my wife 8-30-18. Delicious food and the owner is an awesome person. Shoot, even gave us a hug. I will defiantly come back.
We ordered lunch to go and, OH MY, what a rich bounty of flavors, textures, and spices. Soups, stuffed pastry, pita bread and vegetables with rice-Most enjoyable! I look forward to my next meal with this excellent restaurant.
Very nice people but the food is inconsistent and lacking service and decor. Weird to see clothes hanging in the entrance and no one to seat you when you enter. Need to literally call into the kitchen to get service. There is no wait staff. It appears to be set up for table service but you need to go to the bar to see the menu, order, and pay.
Undoubtedly best Indian food you can ask for in the Mt Shasta. Food is cooked by the owner them self. So the taste is more of homemade than the restaurant like, very tasty n very healthy one too. Definitely recommend if you are in the area and looking for some good healthy food.
The very best Indian cuisine. Traditional dishes authentically prepared; it doesn't get any better. Reminds me of the food prepared by the nuns at the Sarada Devi Convent in Santa Barbara, truly outstanding.
The service is also wonderful; we felt like members of the family rather than just customers! The samosas are not to be missed! I have not had better.
We stopped here on our way back from Oregon to the Bay Area. The couple who ran it are lovely, gracious hosts and welcomed us warmly. The food was delicious and a nice change from other options while traveling. They have a really pleasant deck/patio out back which is dog-friendly. Check this place out!
We walked into the restaurant in search of Indian food for our Mom. The hospitality, the food and the ambiance were exceptional. We were welcomed by the owners as if we are the family members. The food was exceptionally delicious; we went there again for our lunch. Our Mt. Shasta trip was memorable partially because of the experiences we have had at Hari Om Shri Ram. Highly recommend this restaurant.
The only restaurant in Shasta that I LOVE! I always feel welcomed & taken care of like "Family". See you next trip! Gentle Thunder
My husband and I and our 4 kids stumbled on this place and were more than pleasantly surprised. We were welcomed with hugs and smiles. The owner took my kids through the buffet to explain all the dishes to them. We felt like we were having dinner with family. The food was wonderful! The owner even packed up extra food to take for the kids. Can not recommend this restaurant enough. The food and service far exceeded expectations.
Such a great place for authentic Indian food.
The owner is so friendly and attentive. His wife does the cooking, which is really, really good!
Love the new $20.buffet style, I can try everything.
Honestly this is the best food ive had in Mt Shasta and ive been to mist of the places. Very friendly people, and a very cozy atmosphere.
The most lovely service and organic food in town made with lots of love. Amazing and delicious vegan options and the best Chai in town.
We were so happy to find that the buffet was open! We ate out in the patio under the shade of a tree. Had veggie and non-veggie options.
