Harold Stevens Jewelers, San Diego CA

My fiancée and I went to Harold Stevens on a whim. We weren’t ready to buy anything yet, but we want to look and this was the only place in San Diego we could find that offered an Old European cut diamond. We ended up having an amazing experience working with Ryan. He taught us all about diamonds and gave us his candid advice for how to move forward. It wasn’t the same story we heard from other jewelers trying to get us to pay more; he genuinely wanted us to get the best deal. When we finally came in to look at options, he showed them to us before sharing the specs. This made the experience genuinely about finding the right diamond and less about the color, clarity, and all the other things no one else notices. We went to other jewelers, but none of the experiences compared. Ryan helped us design my dream ring that was within our budget and the customer care we received along the way has made us lifelong Harold Stevens customers. I truly can’t recommend this jeweler enough!

We looked at a few different jewelers before settling on Harold Stevens, and the quality of jewelry pieces found here is noticeably better. I also love that it is a local San Diego shop, and not a chain or something you find on Instagram. They have a range of classic to trendy pieces - all of which are stunning. They also have a lot more options in store, if you’re browsing online. We will be coming back here for all our fine jewelry purchases in the future.

I've been with Harold Stevens for years, my sister even goes to them whenever she is in town. I recently went to Ryan with an idea to update my wedding band and not only did he gently steer me in a better direction, but I ended up with a more balanced design and a smaller price tag. That rarely happens and I'm grateful to have a jeweler I can trust.

We went in just hoping to look at what they had in store, and instead got a very personal experience. After exploring a few different styles our first visit, Yoli brought in a small collection of rings from different jewelry designers, and helped us design something unique and fitting AND within our budget. The ring is incredible, my fiancé can't stop staring at it, and she's overwhelmed by the compliments. It's almost a shame we only get to do this once.
