I conducted thorough research before reaching out to Harr Travel, but I preferred not to book multiple cabins through the NCL website. Instead, I chose to work with a professional. I had specific preferences: the ship, travel date, location on the ship, side of the ship, and a minimum deck level of 10. I even identified the exact available cabins and provided this information when I contacted them on a Friday. The agent promised to place a courtesy hold on these rooms during the holiday weekend.

However, the response was delayed. I anxiously watched as one of my selected cabins became unavailable online. Finally, on the following Wednesday, I received an email suggesting alternative options — on the 8th deck, the opposite side of the ship, and at the front, despite my clear preference for the middle or aft. It felt like my detailed requests were largely ignored, as if only a fraction of what I communicated was actually considered.

I ended up booking the cabins myself, and even though that wasn't my preference, at least now they're booked.because otherwise, a week later with Harr, and I was still waiting to hear options that aren't seemingly meant for some other customer.

On my last cruise I met Harr travel agent Crystal who mentioned she cruises with her clients and tries to help them as much as possible. When I was ready to book my next vacation I reconnected with her. Since then she has helped me book 2 cruises and has demonstrated she has an expert level of information on the cruising industry. I have learned a lot of valuable information talking to her and she has really made a positive impact on my booking experience. She has done such a great job I recommended her to the rest of my family who are also using her to book their vacations as well. Working with Crystal you can tell she cares about her clients and goes the extra mile however she can. For those reasons I strongly recommend Crystal at Harr Travel to all of my friends and family and will continue to use her for all of my future travel plans. Thank you, Crystal!

This is the email that I sent to Harr regarding our experience with them.

I wanted to contact you to give you honest & hopefully fair feedback of our experience using Harr Travel.

First, I am unsure if Mike Gapin still works for you but I have never been more disappointed in the service I have received from anyone as much as I was with Mike. Mike, when you have a client who has a child who has a significant injury and you do not even bother to respond to emails asking for advice you are doing a major disservice to the reputation of Harr Travel. You have disregarded pretty much every email you have been sent from me over the last year and you have put a horrible taste in my mouth for Harr Travel.

Second, I want to thank Laura Lanier for actually responding to my questions and easing a lot of my stress. However, when I talked to Laura she said she would call me by noon the next day… she did not… I had to follow up with her. She said she would send an email to RC and Shore Excursions and cc me on it that same day… she did not I had to contact her the next day to remind her. However, she did in the end get it taken care of and for that I am grateful. Laura did say she would contact RC to have the bed separated and a shower stool brought in as well as ask for extra pillows to make my daughter comfortable. I do not know if she did or not but I can tell you that none of it was done when we got onboard… not one of those things.

Guys, you make money on repeat customers… that could have been me. We have three more cruises booked right now & a deposit down for a fourth one through next cruise. I also run Facebook groups for most of those cruises … what do I say when they ask me for a travel agent. Can I in good conscience recommend Harr? I’m not about bashing a company, but you guys should be better than this. Danny, I think I have watched every you tube video you have ever made… you should expect better than this.

Based on my previous interactions with Harr Travel I am not expecting a reply to this since radio silence seems to be the name of your game unless I pester you all and really who has time for that. You guys are our travel agent on our next cruise although as someone who works in sales you should feel guilty collecting the commission on that in all honesty.

Regardless of the hassle it was working with Harr Travel we really had a wonderful vacation and we will continue to cruise Royal Caribbean. I just wish it could have been with you as our travel agent.

Harr Travel was fast and easy! I worked with Amanda W. She listened to everything I was looking and was able to give me various options. She was not pushy at all and answered all my questions! I booked with her and will most definitely use Harr Travel in the future!

SMOOTH SAILING!
Have you ever had an experience with Customer Service that was so amazing and so much more than you could have ever anticipated that it was hard to believe? Well, believe it! That has been my experience with HARR TRAVEL. From my first call with Chris Larsen of Harr Travel to my most recent email, he has been nothing but attentive, patient (with my millions of questions), engaged (when Celebrity changed our itinerary), and solution-oriented (an even better option). Chris is always punctual in returning calls (down to the minute) and he follows thru answering my random emails (even on a week-end). I feel like a valued customer. He is making our 45th Anniversary Trip a reality and so much more than I could have ever dreamed.

For our past cruises, I have always booked and handled all the details myself. This time I caught some videos that Danny (an owner of Harr Travel) had posted on YouTube about Celebrity Cruises (Check them out!). I was so impressed with his presentation and philosophy that I thought maybe I should give Harr Travel a shot as my travel agent, so I called and I am so glad I did! I will never book anything again without their advice. Recently, Danny even took time to give me his own personal recommendations for Excursions while on a plane for his own family vacation. I didn't hesitate at all to book EXACTLY the excursions that he recommended. These are people that I trust.

Not all travel agents are created equal. I am currently working with another travel agent on a Christmas cruise that my family picked that has been the very opposite. They have made me feel my questions were stupid, complained about my calls, and generally made it clear that they don't have time for me and my 15 member party. Chris and Danny have shown me that service matters. And they have made my life so much happier and easier! They have also shared the joy and anticipation of this 45th Anniversary Celebration. I feel valued and cared for.

Don't hesitate to book with a travel agent, but make sure that it is HARR TRAVEL (ask for Chris Larsen!). Happy Travels and SMOOTH SAILING!

Where do I begin? So many details I am sure I will forget something!

First and foremost Danny you are brilliant! My husband and I started watching you on YouTube to educate ourselves on cruise lines. I called Harr Travel while watching your informative videos. I was blessed to be introduced to the amazing Crystal Frank. Ms. Frank went above & beyond throughout this entire process!

What a sweet whole hearted caring young lady who educated me on the entire process. What to expect in every aspect from when to check in, what restaurants to reserve, what necessities to pack, what excursions to plan, what snorkeling mask is best to what cabana to rent during our PERFECT DAY at CoCo Cay!

Crystal also talked me off the ledge several times with my fears of bad weather AND HURRICANES.

Danny you are truly the luckiest to have such an amazing agent working as part of your team!

My husband had never cruised before and now we are counting down the minutes to our next cruise which is 39 weeks away!

We cannot thank Crystal and Harr Travel helping us create a lifetime memory!

You have no idea how much this trip meant to us

The team at Harr Travel is amazing! We've worked with multiple team members and all of them have been friendly and custom service oriented. They have gone above and beyond on multiple occasions, sometimes making things happen that others said couldn't be done. We highly recommend using their service and we wouldn't book a cruise without them.

I used to have a pretty negative preconception about travel agencies. Harr Travel has completely turned that preconception on its head and has been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Any detail of our cruise is always taken care of and we even save money by going through Harr Travel. Delightful sales and customer service staff. Can't recommend enough!

Outstanding first-class service. Like many, I found Harr through their YouTube channel. I've been cruising since 2004 and always booked direct. Began booking with this agency because of their ability to connect AMEX platinum privileges along with whatever perk RCI is running at the time which you can't do through the cruise line itself. Always feels great knowing you're maximizing your perks. I'm also the type to shop prices after a booking and up until the final payment, was able to email about the lower pricing I found and get pricing adjusted before the final payment for two of my cruises in a reasonable response time. Zesa Manhart is an AMAZING human being, professional, kind, and on top of her game. Always received an email or phone call back in a reasonable response time knowing I'm not the only human being booking with them ;-)

BEWARE!
They don't answer the phone and also don't seem to return calls. Been trying for two days. Once they book you on one trip there is no getting them off. The cruise line can't remove them and you can't also. Beware

Update:
No one talked about emails,
Royal Caribbean has been calling for 2 days and leaving msgs and so have I. They don't return calls. Finally if you let the cruise line know and after the cruise line see's they don't respond then you can have them removed. BEWARE!

I've been a client of Harr Travel for many years! They are the best in the business! Danny's Videos are exemplary! I've recently had a chance to deal with Chris Larsen with Harr Travel for a family cruise and he has been awesome!

We dealt with Robert with Harr Travel in booking our recent cruise on Wonder Of The Seas. Robert was knowledgeable and friendly and was able to provide guidance and advice to us several times, from our booking in late January, up until we left for the cruise a couple of weeks ago. Harr got us a better rate than what we could have gotten from Royal on our own. We will use them again.

With the prices of cruises right now I didn’t have much hope of being able to plan a BFF cruise next summer. HUGE shout out to Crystal with Harr travel for not only finding a cruise that fit both within our time frame but also our budget. I was blown away that she found us a BALCONY on an 8 day cruise instead of an inside 7 day cruise which I feared wouldn’t even be in our price range. Crystal was super knowledgeable, has the best upbeat personality and took the time to HEAR what I was needing. Thanks Crystal and Harr Travel!

So I’m not leaving a negative review but I will say that I reached out to you all after watching your wonderful videos on YouTube. It’s just that I feel like your phone service doesn’t match your YouTube quality. I’m currently playing phone tag with someone and in the meantime, of course we know
cruises can fill up, so it is a bummer that your phone service isn’t quicker.

Their youtube videos are great but I've booked with them 3 times and I can't say they've been very helpful beyond my own efforts to plan. I usually write them an email with detailed questions and I've only ever gotten short responses that suggest they never read the emails.

Ran into an issue with the cruise we had booked going into dry dock and cancelled. Chris and Danny were able to work their magic and get all of the issues resolved and moved to a new sailing saving our trip. I cannot recommend Harr Travel enough, going above and beyond to make the trip magical. They have earned my loyalty for all future bookings for sure.

I love this travel agents videos, they are all so thorough, updated and has every room I've searched for per specific ship. He also includes info about whats included with the different suite levels. He has a great advantage with showing the size of the bathroom showers since he's pretty tall as well
