Harris Ranch Inn & Restaurant reviews
22We have Never been disappointed.like I mentioned before our Wedding was there 15 years ago, My daughter's Wedding & now our 15th Anniversary. Thanks to Pam our Anniversary was Great.
Always delicious tri tip sandwiches! Make sure you get your punch card for buy 10 get your 11th Free - which we just did - again!
The cook did not follow instructions in the request to cook our steaks. However, Ms. Z made it all come out right, and understood and cared for our concern. She is amazing!
The food is not bad.i wish it wasnt in the middle of nowhere. I love how there are plebty of tesla supercharger. It is perfectly timed to have dinner and charge while driving between bay area and LA. Servers are nice, but I other wonder do they drive 2 hrs to go to work? Appetizers came real quick. Leads me to think they are heated up once you place the order.steaks are made to perfection. It ran a bit raw actually, so be sure to order accordingly. Portions are large, at least by my standards. Had a great experience overall.
Food was good, and it was a nice experience. We were driving north on 5 and wanted some food that was a little nicer than fast food. I got a tritip sandwich and it came with some fries and a horseradish sauce. I recommend stopping here for the food!
First of all, a/c is excellent. Second, crab cakes are huge, high quality, and delicious. We dined in the not as fancy restaurant, and the waitress was kind enough to secure them for us! Last time we dined in the fancy restaurant and had a five star meal. Also should mention the menu is varied and has something for everyone: chowhound and healthy eater. Definitely stop when cruising I5. They are generous with the bread, too.
Amazing cuts of meat and such a good price because they produce it themselves. It's honestly the best gem on the way to the Bay area.
Harris ranch is an oasis on the 5. It is a perfect stop for a bathroom break, charging your electric car (thank you Tesla!), and grabbing a bite. They have amazing steaks, a well stocked bar and possibly the best burger you've ever tasted. Friendly service as well!
We went there for the second time in a week to have lunch and get some decor at the gift shop. My mother asked for her drink to go and the waiter spilt it all over her. Yes he felt bad and yes he apologized but he didn't discount the bill for even the amount of the drink. I couldn't believe it, he could've at least offered a desert or don't charge her for the iced tea that was spilt on her, something. It was a very negative experience
Harris Ranch is always my halfway stop between northern California and southern California. The place is beautiful. Love to browse the gift shop and take a rest here.
It was very nice and elegant and the service was great but unfortunately the food is as mediocre as Dennys. The chef is hands down the reason i only gave it 2 stars. Mind you this review is only for the restaurant.
I went here for dinner because Thanksgiving traffic was unbearable. This place was good. Steaks on average were $45, but they were good and filling. I'd suggest the t bone and the ribeye steaks. A once in a while trip.
This place is beyond historic. In fact it's one of the first places my husband took me too before we married. It's been the half way point for visits for our kids and our parents. It's become our family tradion to stop by to and from the Bay area. Great family restsurant, good food, great rest place and pit stop. I now have many great memories there. Classy, clean and trustworthy place to go to.
Above average, definitely plan on spending cash but expect it to be worth it. The customer service is extravagant and the food is the same.
It's a good pit stop. Food at restaurants is okay though a bit over priced for the quality. It's hard to beat the stop though.
A nice place to eat off freeway i-5 between SF and LA. Be aware of the smell of cow dung when you are right out of the restaurant.
Definitely worth pulling off the freeway and having a nice meal before / after dealing with the traffic. Tasty food, clean bathrooms, right off the freeway. The smell doesn't reach inside the restaurant.
The people at Harris ranch are always helpful and extremely kind. The pool is big and rooms are clean. You have to try the food there! It's as fresh as it gets.
This was a very nice stop. We had the BBQ Express and it was delicious! Then we made a few purchases in the store at the main building. I'm very happy we stopped!
Harris Ranch is conveniently located right off the freeway for a nice pit stop to use the bathroom and get some food. They are well known for their beef. For breakfast, I usually get the Corned Beef Hash (one of my favorites). If it is lunch, I don't particularly recommend their salads, but they have decent sandwiches/ burgers and fantastic prime rib. Service is very good. Waiters and waitresses are quick and attentive to customer needs. I have not lived in their inn so I can't comment on that. Hall bathrooms are bigger and cleaner than the ones in the restaurant.
