3Phenomenal place to join other like-minded environmentally-conscious outdoor lovers. A rustic bare bones lodge. No hot tub. No barbecue grill. Great opportunity to escape for a quiet weekend to decompress. Must be a Sierra Club member or guest. Membership has its privileges.
Lovely old rustic lodge for Sierra club members and their guests. Everyone cooks and shares food and chores. Beautiful area. Bring your friends and family.
This is a rustic lodge built by Sierra Club (S. C.) volunteers in 1930, named for first woman Sierra Club president. Peace and quiet at 6,000 feet on Mt. Baldy, among tall pines. Large stone main room, wood paneled dining room, well-equipted kitchen, separate men's and women's dorms upstairs.
Both Sierra Club members and guests are welcome on "open weekends" to come up and enjoy local hikes and the relaxing mountain atmosphere from 10 a.m. Sat.to 3 p.m. Sun. Bring your own bedding, toiletries and meals to cook. Do check Angeles Chapter S. C. Schedule first; S. C.groups reserve some weekends, and you'll need to reserve thru them if so.
