I have been to other tours in New Orleans and Jamaica on a plantation, through towns, etc.and this was by far the best host we’ve ever experienced! He is an excellent story teller, loud and clear enough to talk over the cars and people on the street, he keeps you engaged. It was so fascinating to learn about the intense history of our town and feel all the ghosts around us.
The best part is the investigation at the end at the Cary hotel! You don’t usually get to do an investigation on tours, so this was my highlight! Scary but fun! Highly recommend a ghostly night with Gene in Placerville
Gene is a fantastic guide! He is knowledgeable and his storytelling is captivating. HHGT is a fun and exciting evening.

This was the best experience I have ever had. Gene is great with his history and we all got devises to use and when they go off watch out. Scary but completely fun. I went in scared but came out a fan. People book a tour you wont regret it. Love it!
