We sat outside on the patio and it was wonderful. The sounds of Geese and coyotes at night were fun. The food and drinks were amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely a date night or special occasion place for fine dining! We had potato gnocchi, goldbud apple and Belgian endive salad, and the truffle cheeseburger! Which I highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Hawks Fine Dining in Granite Bay, CA, and I couldn't be more thrilled to share my extraordinary experience.

Our server, Darren, truly made the evening special with his warm, friendly, and highly professional service. His attention to detail and welcoming demeanor added a delightful touch to our meal.

Now, let's talk about the food - I ordered the short rib, and it was an absolute culinary masterpiece. The succulent flavors and impeccable presentation left a lasting impression.

But what truly sets Hawks Fine Dining apart is their dedication to accommodating dietary preferences. My date, a vegan diner in the duo, was pleasantly surprised with an off-menu vegan dish that was nothing short of exceptional. It's evident that the staff goes the extra mile to ensure every guest's satisfaction.

In conclusion, Hawks Fine Dining is a gem in Granite Bay, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. When you visit, be sure to request Darren as your server for an extra special evening.

Mahalo for the wonderful experience, Hawks Fine Dining!

This is my favorite restaurant in the entire Sacramento region. Absolutely delicious food, incredible drinks and stellar A+ first class, just simply the highest quality attentive and anticipatory service. Wine menu is one of the best in Northern California, don’t believe me…well then I will state that you probably know very little about wine. Everything on the menu is well executed. The Caesar salad dressing I will lick off the plate, good thing for bread service. The gnocchi is not to be missed. We always get a charcuterie and a tuna tartare. I like to split a pasta… if I ever see the tagliarini then there’s absolutely no stopping me. The short ribs are my favorite, no matter what time of year or what set they have it with. The chicken and duck is always perfectly prepared. The filet mignon and or New York cut is always one of the most tender and flavorful beef options that I’ve ever had. They prepare grill items with almond wood which really enhances the flavor of the meats. The seafood options are up there as well, last time we had halibut and a Maine lobster gnocchi with sauce américaine addition that was really good. Dessert options don’t disappoint, we go with the beignets and a scoop or three of house gelato. Espresso service, I can’t resist, they pull a good shot! I typically can’t walk, let alone drive home afterwards due to gorging myself like a stuffed ham and copious amounts of vino, so I make sure to get a Lyft for the way home. Bon appetite nerds!

Absolutely amazing service & meal! Dined with my work team of 10 people and everyone loved the experience!
I highly recommend the beet cured Hamachi (white soy, yuzu, pickled alba mushrooms and wasabi), the compressed watermelon salad (saeng’s strawberries, french feta, cucumber and mint), the potato gnocchi (bay scallops, yellow pepper cream and smoked paprika) & almond wood grilled filet mignon (alpine cheese, cipollini onions, pommes dauphines). We shared the warm brioche beignets with salted caramel for dessert, which was fun & delicious.
I'm looking forward to the next time I'm in town & to share this gem with more friends & family.

We have been coming here for years and it has always been our local go-to restaurant but we noticed a definite drop in the quality of the food last night. The meals we had last night were heavily salted. The soup, duck and short ribs were very salty. The soufflé was even a disappointment. There was also no Tasting menu as was the usual offering in the past. The service was excellent as usual but the saltiness of the cuisine masked the usual nuances of the flavors.

A reservation for 8: 00pm was made. I arrived with a small group of people and waited at the bar for the table to be set. A double shot of grey goose ran about $28. A little overpriced but fine. Once we were seated we had ordered drinks, received them, and for the next half hour radio silence from the staff. At about the 25 minute mark the waiter walked up, asked if we were ready, my friend stated yes. The waiter got distracted and left. After a total of 35 minutes drinking water and noticing the tables to the left and right of us who were seated much later were already eating we were upset and left. Did not cause a scene, just walked out. The hostess was polite and asked what was wrong we stated we were leaving because nobody had taken our order for about 35 minutes while people were already finishing their first plates. While the men were able to escape the women from our group had to run around and find someone to pay their tab with. They were then stopped by staff and a supervisor proceeded to apologize for about 15-20 minutes stating he will make things right and contact the reservation maker (my friend). It is now 6 days later. No one contacted us, and quite frankly with the amount of money your paying to eat and the upperclass clientele in this restaurant you would assume decent service but unfortunately this wasn’t the case. Also unfortunately was with the amount of wasted time from not being able to order and the manager pretending to care about the poor service (if he cared he would have called by now) we had no where else to eat since it was so late at night. It’s truly unfortunate I was not able to try the food, I was forced to eat a peanut butter jelly burger at lazy dog restaurant since this was the only restaurant in the area still open. Quite frankly I would much rather eat peanut butter jelly burgers until I retire at the age of 70 from government work than waste an hour of my time and not even get to order at an establishment such as this one. Pease saw your time and money and eat elsewhere.

Just about the highest level of dining around. Amazing service. Food is prepared carefully, However, the duck was a bit tougher than expected. Portions are on the smaller side as you might expect.
Drinks are done right.
