Hawks Landing Golf Course, Yucca Valley CA

Everyone is super nice. Medium pricey but I guess a bargain if you consider what they did to golf down the hill….

I was surprised how awesome the views were. Should have came here earlier. Attended a private event here and. Now hope to get my husband signed up for lessons.

This course is my go to course to get outta the Palm Springs golf hustle & bustle. My experience is that the course conditions play faster in the winter & slower in summer. I've been playing here since I started playing again. I never played here when I was younger. From then to now I believe this course was closed for a period of time.
You gotta use every club in the bag here. Not much danger out there but certainly enough to make a fun round. Elevation changes, wasteland areas, just enough water, plenty of trees.
Would give 5 stars because the facilities are nice. The people & staff are friendly. It's just not 18 holes. During the winter you gotta find the sweetspots during the day cuz it can get slow. Summer has a much faster pace of play.

I just love this course. Casual but challenging enough and the staff is really great, all the way around. Dare I say 'above par? I ok. I said it.because they ARE!
Always comfortable and always fun. The food is FANTASTIC and the drink prices are reasonable. Don't you all rush up here and overrun our little gem in the Mojave desert, though!

As this is my home course and play it probably 20 or more times a year. This place has it all. Greens are always in great condition. They are fast in the afternoon and have many undulations. Fairways are great and maintained. You get to see roadrunners, coyotes, ducks and of course Hawks while you play. The Roost Cafe has the best food not only for it being a golf course but in the all the area. Love everything about this place. The staff is excellent. Oh and the driving range is also very nice

First time playing here in the desert, great small easy course you play the 12 holes then you go back and pay the six to make it 18 holes it’s a short course

When my mother walked into the restaurant. The cook was sitting on the phone. No one greeted her as she walked in. They were out of ice for her ice tea. She ordered waffles. They arrived hard as rock, no whip cream. The waitress said they were out. She walked out an went to John's Place. She received a great waffles with strawberries an whip cream.

Hawk’s Landing is a gem because of its friendly atmosphere, quality greens, and the restaurant is the absolute best place to eat in Yucca Valley.

Great little course, has very soft greens, makes up for there only being 12 holes. Honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had. A true chef who is there every morning and night. Personally cooks your food with passion and talent, never had a bad meal here, it’s better than name brand top tier steak houses I’ve eaten at, great fish dishes, Italian dishes, fresh made daily soups, and great draft iPa beers, you can’t go wrong here.

Wonderful experience here today! Started with breakfast perfectly made by a super nice woman. Rosie at the pro shop set us up with our golf and was truly helpful since this was was our first time here and we are bad golfers. ;) The golfers in back of us were kind - many times people rush you and make you not appreciate the experience. We will definitely be back. Not gonna lie though, course is a little brown.

Great place to go, the greens are well maintained. The driving range was really fun, had a business trip there with our company and they loved it. The restaurant "The Roost" food was out of this world. I recommend this place for a party or gathering with friends.

Nice course well maintained. I decided to play this course again while in the area. I like this course. The holes are forgiving and easy to stay in play. Great shape for the area. The rates are low and easy to get a tee time. My only dislike was that it got backed up by the slow play of golfers who don't know to let others play through. Because it's 12 holes the first 6 can get crowded but still a fun course

The food was delicious, salad was tasty with the blue cheese dressing being exceptional. The hamburger was so good that my son had it gone before I could even count to 30, the prime rib was delicious and tender as well. The service was also exceptional. I didn't use the restroom, but the rest of the facility looked clean. The prices were a bit high for the prime rib dinners, but everything is going up right now so I can't down Star grade due to that. Overall it was a good experience.
