I cannot speak more highly of Steve Snyder. He helped me so much. I was looking at a complicated sixth knee surgery. I had an insurance with which I was supposed to be able to see experts out of my area. I knew I needed the best doctor possible to understand my problem, and be able to take on the challenge of repairing someone else’s mistake. To see this special doctor, I first had to see my MD for a recommendation to see the local orthopedic surgeon, knowing he would not likely be the doctor I needed. Then HE had to give me a recommendation to see the surgeon I wanted to see. Each appointment took several weeks or months due to the longer waiting times for office visits during Covid. Finally after 5 or 6 months, I got the “okay” to MAKE an appointment. BUT a “special committee” for my insurance company still had to approve it, and I was warned it could take some time. I finally got that insurance approval in December of that year, AFTER I had already contacted Steve Snyder. He was able to change my insurance to a PPO which would allow me to make my own appointments without any approvals. I called them in December, and made an appointment in January, knowing that my new insurance would be valid on January 1st. I had an appointment on January 9th. It basically took 9 days after my insurance was valid, as opposed to about 9 months with the previous insurance and all the hoops I had to keep jumping through. Happy ending, I got my great expert. He repaired my knee, and I am finally starting to walk again, after 3 years in a wheelchair. And I am not in constant pain anymore! Thank you Steve!
