Healthy Spot, Playa Vista CA

I want to leave a review for a worker that helped me with my order earlier today in the morning Saturday. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name but I just want to give feedback that they had great customer service, knowledgeable about their products, attentive to customer walk-in, and offered seamless transaction. Hopefully they can get recognition & a bonus for great representation of the company.

When I entered this store I felt unwelcome. The associated saw my son and I and didn’t say hi or acknowledge us in anyway. When other white patrons entered the store, they were welcomed with bolstering hello’s. They seemed to ignore solely based off the fact that I am brown. They looked at me as if I were the first brown person they had ever seen. I didn’t get the associates name, all I do remember is that she had a tattoo of a crown on her right arm. This behavior is not ok.

My family and I bring our little dog to this place and all team is very nice once you come in they have an smile for you they explain everything about what your dog need but not without ask you if you look for something special we are very happy with them service

The people who work here are so kind! I was able to get in and out quickly and the store is extremely organized

I'm not one to leave reviews often or negative ones. I agree with the other reviews in regards to customer service. I have been bringing my dogs to healthy spot for over 10 years. My one dog who is now 17 years old, was in the hospital in December for a heart murmur. Access hospital in culver city released him, and the discharge instructions stated that he is good to resume normal activities. I asked if he could get groomed or at least his nails clipped bc as a senior dog, he was slipping on hardwood floors. I had an appt in marina del rey, i didn't want to cancel, and bc the vet said he was fine to get groomed yet was on medication to keep his heart murmur regulated, he should be fine. He was a little wobbly at that location. They put in their notes that he can't stand. So after making an they wouldn't take him. So i took him to playa vista, where i live. The nice woman there cut his nails and he immediately started walking around. She said she loves grooming senior dogs, and that the fur in between his paw pads needs to be trimmed since it has been 3 months since marina turned him down. I waited this long to make sure he's sturdy and fine. She said to book an appt with her and she'll see us next week. Which is today. I get a text message at 9am the time of my appt saying they can't take Jack. I said why not? He can stand. I love my dogs, and would never put him in a position that would harm him. I'm in healthy spot now, they can all see he's clearly walking around and standing. They're trying to call some manager Michelle who hasn't seen him, but bc of a note from him not being able to stand in Dec after he was hospitalized, 3 months ago, they won't take him. I have spent thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars in grooming, products and food at this stablishment. It is now 940 and now they won't take him. Find a place that actually cares for your dogs. These people are rude, discriminating, they have no problem taking all your money for overpriced products but when your dog just needs some help to get around w a service I'm not qualified to do myself, they turn on you. When they clearly see he's standing and walking! I'm so offended and feel so bad for my dog. Cruel ppl who don't actually care for your animal. Run and spend your money for your animals somewhere that actually has integrity.

I had the most amazing experience here learning about treats and foods that are both safe and potentially be very beneficial to the health of my four little angels. The staff were very kind, helpful and patient. Also it's very affordable if you're on a budget. The atmosphere in general has chill vibes and the whole place smells amazing. Definitely coming back here to get my kiddos groomed, and my one dog to get a dental appointment.

Convenient place for us to get our dogs’ food, toys, treats, and grooming! As others have said, it’s pricey but it’s the consistently good service that keeps us coming back! Everyone is very nice, especially Wendy who sent us a Christmas card with our dogs’ names and coupons for grooming services. Love this place!

Love my local Healthy Spot here in Playa! The girls are so sweet and helpful ️? Of course it is pricey, but only the best for my furry friends!

The vibes in the store are amazing and Janelle is incredibly sweet and helpful whenever I come in to buy food or Frontline for both of my kitties, we always have a great conversation! The store is very easy to navigate and I like that I can pop in right before or after a Whole Foods trip, SOOO convenient! They also have a great selection of toys, food (wet, dry, raw), treats, and more! They carry very top quality cat food brands, and I trust Janelle’s recommendations for my angel kitty babies.

Everybody's so nice there I haven't been to grooming but the retail is always friendly and helpful.

This place is perfect for your dogs, they provide grooming and the services are pretty nice! You also get first time discounts on the site. Other than that they have everything for cats and dogs with somewhat medium to high prices. The staff members are helpful and they know their stuff, I would recommend this place for your furry friend. I had to take an appointment from the app and they are busy so plan ahead, you have to enter every details of your pet from vaccinations to allergies.

Healthy spot has a great selection of accessories + high quality food & treats. We came to this location for the spring egg hunt, our little guy had so much fun, can’t wait to return here for more events.

The service was all out, and I liked it very much! This pet shop really has the best employees that can help you with your needs, especially for your beloved pets.
