9Lori groomer was so nice to our pup. He was going through it, with recent infections and allergies and all the things, but she took really good care of him. Even though she wasn't sure she would be able to finish his cut, she did and she put a lot of time and love into it and I appreciate that so much.
Pet shop for dogs and cats, super complete, they have everything for your pup! Food, toys, beds, clothes harnesses and leashes, season costume, CBD supplements, toppers, vitamins. They also have groomers and a day care for small doggies. Staff is always friendly, Guillermo and Naz are the best!
Don’t use the day care, they mostly leave the dogs in crates and if they want to play they told you to pick them up because they don’t let the other dogs sleep…. You are paying for a place to make your dog sleep not play….
And the cards that they give you with the info aren’t real, they create stories
Asked for “teddy bear cut” but got this interesting cut which doesn’t look like teddy bear to me…
The staff here are all fantastic, especially Nazneen! Pricing is fair and reward points help. I like how they never try to sell you a product or service that’s not right for your dog. I know they have our dogs best interest in mind. Thanks, Healthy Spot team
Checked out clothes for my 4 yr old dog B-Day and they had a 50% off jacket/clothes sale. My pup loved the outfits and the sherbet and b-day bones snacks!
Disturbed our Saturday morning at 6 am by “cancelling” our grooming appointment. Whoever runs the text line is terrible at their job and afraid of giving her name
Great and friendly neighborhood pet and grooming store. The staff are always helpful with answering any questions especially deciding on food or supplies for your pet. They are always generous on giving out free samples if they have the brand of food you are interested in trying. They also run frequent promotions for certain brands of pet food which is great.
Also came here for grooming a few times and things went well. Only one time, my dog came out not fully dry. The appointments take about 4 hours which could be too long and could be traumatic for your pet.
Glad that they are in the neighborhood for your pet’s needs! The location is also a block away from the dog park!
We want to express our outrage with the Grooming services provided by the Mission Bay Health Spot.
We chose Healthy Spot because even though they are more expensive than other groomers, they say they pride themselves in working in a partnership, and that they have grooming assistants to help with animals that have anxiety or stress. We were told these assistants (as well as their website says this) so that dogs that are stressed can get a break when they are upset.
The truth of the matter is they leave your screaming dog in cages for hours! We had an appointment and when we came back for her over an hour later we could hear her from outside before we even got into the store. She was screaming and crying. We learned they had not even started her yet and had left her unattended this whole time in a cage. Obviously we immediately took her home. We are scared that this has happened on more than one occasion since the grooming for our 8lb maltipoo would take up to 4 hours.
To communicate that you offer a groomer and a grooming assistant, and to charge for that and not have it but instead have a stressed out animal is abusive and irresponsible. She was so upset she wouldn't leave our side after we came home.
They should be ashamed. We have reached out to their management and will update this review with their responses.
