Audiologist HearUSA reviews
7This hearusa located at Griffith park Blvd, was a bad to purchase hearing aids. One reason is that their service especially front desk employees, they have a bad attitude especially to seniors customers. They are unapproachable if you have concerns regards to your need or questions about the equipment. They make you look stupid. As if you don’t know anything about how to use the hearing aid devices. My self I walk in at this location I don’t appreciate their work ethics, they need be train for services advocate.
I helped a lost lady get here. When they found out about her experience trying to get to her appointment, they went above and beyond to help her get a safer ride home. Very polite and caring.
HearUSA was extremely efficient and everyone who worked there was very kind. Would recommend highly to anyone in the area!
Have been coming to this store for about 15 years and although the personnel has changed a couple of times it’s my go to place for hearing aids. I’ve purchased 3 pairs of hearing aids here. The people are always friendly and helpful. Parking can be a bit of a problem depending on what time you go but I would recommend anyone who needs hearing aids to give them a try.
Rude staff. For the amount of money they are charging for their hearing aids, they lack understanding of customer service. Don't give this place your business.
We went there today for an appointment today and they tried to say that I scheduled an appointment for something other then what my appointment was scheduled for. The people at the front desk for trying to blame me for setting this appointment. But it was the Doctor who had set the appointment. They were continually rude and refused to acknowledge their mistake. When I told them I would not be coming back they laughed and scoffed. Clearly there is a lack professionalism in this office.
I lost my hearing several mouths ago so my doctor sent me to Hearusa. My insurance paid for the hearing aids. However when I arrive for my appointment on the 24th of August I was fitted with a pair of cheap plastic hearing aids which allegedly cost $1,800. I was shocked that I wasn't even given a choice to select a hearing aid that would work best for my hearing deficiency. When after they stuck these cheap gadgets in my ears I got an infection in my left ear which was caused by a hole in my ear canal, how could that have happend? I have now had these fake hearing aids for eight weeks and both the right as well as left rockers have detached from the main units, I have only heard background noise from these units and I have not worn then both together since i got them as the infection came about so suddenly thus I were told by the doctor not to wear the left aid.
I made two atempts to visit two locations but the receptionist at both were rude and uninformative as they so insisted that i needed another appointment before they could correct their mistake even after they received correspondents from their corporate office. I have discovered that they have no concer about the disability of the hearing impaired. Obviously only in it for the quick insurance buck. I feel that they have taken advantage of Medicare, Medical and me a disabled aging citizen.
