We've somehow become regulars here! Arriving for an early dinner on a weeknight guarantees an immediate table and quick service. Fri/Sat night usually has long wait.

Can not discourage you enough from going here.

Hostess was extremely rude and short. As an example: Had to ask for the standard garlic and chives and in return got a heavy sigh and an eye roll

Not only that, it was difficult to even get service because the hostess/waitress was taking shots with friends while they were the only ones getting decent service.

Waited 35 minutes while there were 3 open tables

Pray you don't sit under the AC.since the workers are drunk and hot, they blast the AC in the dead of winter. Bring a jacket!

The menu is extremely restrictive compared to other Hot Pots

Wanted to try this place because i love the downtown location
Honestly if I were the Heat Shabu from Downtown I wouldn't affiliate myself AT ALL with this place. It's a far far fall from the downtown location.

As insult to injury, they don't have wagyu meatballs!

Otherwise the food was decent.but not worth the price and the trouble

I usually go to the downtown location, but I’ve eaten here once before and order takeout from here all the time. They have a great takeout deal for couples and families if you ever want to do hot pot at home. Service is always on point too. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful. I always have a great experience here.

We’ve come here many times before - and it’s been amazing.but tonight we arrived with a party of 8, right at 430pm and ordered all you can drink & eat.didn’t receive our first drink or food for 30minutes.and we were cut off at 6 on the dot.usually they are super cool, so not sure if policy changed.i understand the 90 minute rule.but assumed that starts when the first drink comes to the table.not to mention there was only one other 2 person table in the whole restaurant when we arrived.just disappointed tonight.colleen, seemed to be super cold as our waitress.

My family and I wanted to eat somewhere where it's mostly just meat. We saw Heat out of nowhere and thought ok hopefully it's not packed since it's Sat. The parking sucks just to be honest. There's additional in the back but, nope, no parking at all! We tried again in the front and got lucky. If there was no parking then we would have left. Chu, hopefully that's his name correctly spelled. I should have asked. He was our server. He is super awesome! He was attentive and friendly. He made my lychee sake tini and it was so good. The meats were good! Omg! The wagyu and kobe beef were soooo good! The soup broths were really good! First time doing hotpot and we were having fun and it was a great experience. Thank you, Chu! You are awesome!

Love going here for all you can eat hot pot dinner. Staff is attentive, friendly and takes sake bombs with you. We eat here too much actually.

Excellent food. Outstanding service staff. We will be returning. The Vietnamese broth was very spicy.

We went here for a birthday dinner with our friends and we all got the AYCE + Drink, which currently (Sept 2023) is about $50 per person. Worth it for the price if you were already planning to have a couple drinks with dinner. My friend made a reservations for 6 of us at 6 pm, and when the first couple arrived, they said all members had to be present in order to be seated, which was a little silly but I guess is understandable if you're trying to sneak people in or something.

There is supposed to be a 90 min time limit for the AYCE, but we went a little over and our server did not try to boot us out at all or make us feel unwelcome. I believe they did give us a last call for ordering more food or drinks but it was plenty of time for us to stuff ourselves full!

We were all new to hot pot so we asked our server (I think his name was Chu?) for recommendations on the food, instructions on how long to cook the stuff, etc, which he did without hesitation and did not seem irritated or inconvenienced or condescending at all, like some servers do. He was very nice, seemed genuine in his answers and was attentive to our group, as best you can on a Friday night at dinner! His recommendations were great for the food.

The only thing we did not like was the quail eggs, which were oddly textured and not a favorite in our group, but I think that's more of a personal preference than quality of food. I would have loved more actual cabbage leaves in the bowl of vegetables vs the cabbage spine that we got but everything else was great.

At the end of the meal we also got a small scoop of green tea ice cream to help cleanse the palate (which I kinda didn't want since the food was so good) and it was also very light and yummy.

Chu was great and seemed professional the entire time we were there. The 2 women who were also serving were seen serveral times during our 2 hours there, chugging beers with other tables, which I found inappropriate to be doing while on the clock.
At one point, I went into the restroom after one of the female staff to find she did not change out the toilet paper roll, instead left an empty roll on the dispenser and the new roll was sitting on the back of the toilet which seemed lazy, but maybe she was feeling kinda lazy due to drinking multiple beers at work? One other person in my party (who went in after I did) mentioned she had to wipe with a toilet seat cover because she didn't see the TP roll on the back of the toilet until she was already washing her hands.

I'll gladly return if I am able to have the same server each time!

Food was great, atmosphere was fun but BEWARE! They try to trick you into double tipping. We were a party of 6 and without telling us they added an 18% tip to our bill. And the recommended tip percentages were on top of the already added in 18%. Kind of ruined my experience

I hate that I have to post this because my boyfriend and I love this restaurant and enjoy bringing people here with us but tonight was a horrible experience. Basically, everything took forever, but what made me the most upset was that it felt like we were deliberately being ignored, all the while it seemed like our waitress Lyly T was always at the table next to us. To add to that comment, at least 3 or 4 times throughout or dinner I watched her and another server chug beers with the people at the table. Ridiculously unprofessional, and she would drop things off then disappear for who knows how long. We sat holding our check trying to pay so we could leave for like 15 minutes and she would walk by us but keep walking to talk to other tables or joke with the guys beside us.

Great and delicious dinner. We ordered the Ayce shabu with tonkatsu broth, rib eye shrimp, quail eggs, fish balls, ramen noodles and veggie bowl. Recommended!

Waitress don’t know how to smile. I did all you can eat but choice of food only few things. I’m not happy with that.

First timers so we had to ask for help, I thought the food was fantastic, very tasty indeed, broth was really awesome n fillings was very delicious once they went through the process.

I recently dined at this restaurant and was very impressed. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The service was impeccable, the food was fresh and delicious. I particularly like the Kobe beef, the portion sizes were also generous.

Overall, High level of quality to the food. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

I called them like 10mins before my arrival to check the availability. The girl who picked up the phone was pretty rude. She told me there was no wait time. But right after I arrived, she said the previous group has taken the last table and the wait time was 1hr to 1.5hr while there were only 3 groups of people in the restaurant.

Did not even get to sit and eat. We called. They said there is no wait. Ok no problem. We travel 30 min to get there. When we walk in they said wait is an hour to an hour and a half. I walk out to tell my family the wait and we decided we wanted to try it so we walk back in to put our name on the list they said then wait is an hour to an hour and a half.only for them to say the wait went up to an hour and a half to 2 hours! I asked what happened in the 2 seconds it took to write my name. They tried to say no I told you it was a 2 hour wait. Which was absolutely NOT what was said. The hostess had the biggest attitude.

Called restaurant and was asking how their establishment serves their soup. Whoever picked up was pretty rude and told me that he cannot answer additional questions as he needs to operate his business. If he doesn’t have the time at least have one of his employees connect with clients. Not a place I would bring a party of 12 which I planned to.
