Heavenly Village Cinemas reviews
15$15 for a drink and popcorn, and when asking for additional butter, was told it would be $1 more. Staff was also distant, and not very friendly.
So nice to be able to see a big movie on the big screen again. Top Gun Maverick, the Danger zone is alive and well.
Very very clean. Popcorn fresh not stale. Seats are wonderfully comfortable. And the staff is one of the most polite and accommodating. Thank you for the great experience
Shocked by unprofessional behavior of the shift manager. We arrived with my sons and were stopped to have my backpack searched. Once I showed that there were only sweaters in it, the shift manager refused to let us in and demanded that backpack was to be left behind. I asked to explain on what grounds that request was made. The manager stated, those were the rules, but failed to show them written. When I asked her, if she just made up that rule, she acknowledged it to be the case. Oh well. It is the only movie theater in town, and it shows.
The facility was adequate for a movie theater. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they increased the air conditioning upon request. The movie screens were a bit small, but the film was still easy to watch and was entertaining.
Small theater, no advance seating options. Drive to Carson City. The theater is so much better.
Great and small cinema. But you'll have parking problems, as international tourist without a phone number.
Great place to take a break and catch a movie, not crowded, clean and the employees were friendly
The theater is great. Don't expect huge imax screen. It is a great size to view movies and on some movies they can expand the view of the screen. It all depends on the movie though. Big comic book movies, they will leave lights off, other films not so much but to each his own. Overall great theater and helpful staff
Biggest issue: If you’re seeing a movie with scenes during the credits or after, be prepared for all of the lights to come on and staff to be cleaning the theater during the scenes. Make a note to yourself to rewatch later when the film is released on disc or streaming so you can actually take it in. Otherwise, it’s fine, and there aren’t any others close by, so it’s the only option. Chairs aren’t terribly comfortable, as others have said.
This place definitely needs some renovation and auditorium/screen are smallest I've ever experienced.
Workers at popcorn and drink station could use some smiles to customers.
Love the people and the concession stand. No matter when we go the theaters are always clean. I was just hoping for better seats when they reopened. Not very comfortable at all.
Worst experience ever. We just wanted to have a good time with our family.and because of mis understanding in between the workers and not charging the correct thing we got sent out to dispute charges for some ices meanwhile the movie we payed to go watch was already starting. I’m sorry but I did not like how we got treated. And I the owner had no interest to find an other solution for that but to have us come out, at the end we just left. Left pretty unpleased and very disappointed!
Comfy chairs, large theater. Concessions are a bit over priced but so is everything else in tahoe. I would visit again
More screens than I thought, nice friendly staff, typical expensive popcorn and drinks, and the seats are ok.
