Hello Kitty Café reviews
16We took our Daughter by for her birthday.we ordered macaroons, they were decent. We ordered 4 coffees.the most horrible ever. Zero flavor. The coffee was SO hot, you couldn't even drink it.when it cooled down, the black coffee was nothing more than hot steamy water. It was like dark water~ horrible. My Daughter (the birthday girl) asked for flavor coffee, guess they forgot. It tastes like warm milk~ $40 later, I had to write this. It was such a lousy experience, won't be going back! Thanks a lot "Hello Kitty Cafe". Two thumbs down for sure.
Very cute, but for indoor seating, it requires reservations. Tasty mini donut, overall a good experience. Seasonal drinks are delicious too.
Hello Kitty Cafe is located at the Irvine Spectrum City. My little sister wanted to go there so we gave it a try. It was pretty good. To me, it wasn’t really worth the wait and standing in line, however if you have a little princess who wants to go, she will definitely enjoy it. There was an area called the Bow Room which I believe has a bar. We definitely need to go back and try that out. But this place is decorated very well and its theme was well put together. This is a pretty nice place. Go check it out!
Came here with my girlfriend drove from DTLA. We got 4 cocktails & 1 dessert. The cocktails were good, and the pumpkin tart was delicious. The hostess who sat us was very friendly and the customer service from the bartender in the bow room was nice as well. The decor is so cute, I would definitely come here again or recommend anyone.
For the people complaining about the price is ridiculous. Hello Kitty is expensive itself already, so I don’t understand the hate.
Can’t afford it? Don’t go simple as that.
My teens waited years for this cafe to open, having visited the pop-up cafe several years ago.
The atmosphere was the embodiment of young female euphoria, covered in pink and embracing the Hello Kitty theme to the maximum extent possible. It was a dream paradise for my two daughters.
The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and respective items.
The food was delicious, but a little too sweet for my pallet. The items were obviously ideal for a younger audience, with macarons, cookies, tea with a large helping of sugar, and little cakes.
I struggle with the cost at $60 per person, but I also understand that this isn't a place you frequent, but a luxury experience made for special occasions.
Overall a wonderful experience that I know my children will cherish forever.
This place is so "cute". If you are a Hello Kitty fan you should not miss this experience.
To visit the small bar/restaurant they have, it is always necessary to make a reservation.
The food was an utter disappointment. Environment was great. Service was lacking, and the prices were too astronomical for miniature little things. Definitely not worth it for the food, or service. I do not recommend what so ever
Smaller than I imagined, but very cute. Definitely s fun little experience. The rose black iced tea was good and already sweetened. The strawberry cake was sweet and delicious. Loved the shopping bags and photo opportunities. We didn't get to go into the tea room, but it sounded like a cute experience. $60 for like 1.5 hour experience with food and a tea pot per person. Worth making reservation and trying it out!
The wait in line is absolutely worth the experience. If you’re a Hello Kitty fan you must go
Over priced. Our server never smiled or try to built any type of rapport to make us feel confertable. It was a special occasion for my daughter and didn't bother to make her feel special. They were more concerned on cleaning the table so we can leave, at least that's how it felt. First and last time I step foot on that Cafe. Horrible experience for the 600 dollars I payed for 30 minutes.
So cute! The snacks were amazing! Especially the cinnamon donuts. So crispy and sweet. Very pricey though. I spent almost $100.
My mom booked us a Tea Time in their Tea room and it was honestly the cutest thing ever! From what I heard you have to book in advance but honestly its so worth it! Tea time was around $60 a person but included everything. Alcohol is the only thing that is additional during this time.
From the food to the tea everything was perfect! I cant wait to hopefully go back again in the future!
Went today the girl at the register was rude, it's small the las vegas location is much better
Took my Hello Kitty loving daughter here for vacation. I read some of the reviews and I might have some updates:
1. The food was very good. They must have upgraded their items, because we didn't have a single bad item during the Tea Time.
2. The staff is very friendly and attentive, they did an excellent job balancing exclusivity with welcomeness.
3. If you, or someone with you, is a Hello Kitty lover- you're going to make memories here. My daughter was telling me that it was the best day of her life, and that's the bottom line that makes it worth the wait and cost. Glad we came!
I remember when this was just a small pop up stand and didn't have much of a menu yet. I finally decided to order from the cafe, the line wasn't that long but it did take about 15 minutes before I could order. The cafe is small and there are some decorations, not as much as I imagined. There are a few places inside the cafe that you can take pictures, of course the most popular attraction was a Helly Kitty stature. There is a door called the "bow room" I did not go in but saw a few people come out. Maybe that's where the seating is? You can also buy the cafe's merchandise ranging from clothing, mugs, etc. If you are a Hello Kitty fan then I don't need to tell you what the prices look like. Moving on to the food. I ordered the strawberry cake and chocolate cake. At first I thought the samples in the window looked like plastic because obviously it's for display only.but I was surprised that the real cake itself looked exactly like the display. They use fondant instead of icing/cream. I was a little bummed by that because the cake could have been a 5/5 if it was with real whipped cream, especially for the strawberry cake. The cake itself was good, I peeled most of the fondant off to enjoy it. Chocolate cake was good, at least it wasn't encased with fondant. Customer service.the girl was polite and she packed my boxes of cake quickly. Just so you know all the cakes are pre-packaged in a cute Hello Kitty box so all they have to do is grab a box and put it in a bag. Overall experience wasn't bad. Most of the hype was expected because it is branded by Hello Kitty and fans will likely enjoy the experience.
Come early to get the seasonal food items! We came at 1pm on a Monday and they were out of the seasonal food items, like the pumpkin tart and maple donuts. Disappointed.
