Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park reviews
19Cool little walk with a train passing through and little ones to wave at. Didnt explore everywhere, just the train area
Just beautiful, have a few trails to take the dogs. Wish some of the regular trails were dog friendly
Such a beautiful place. Many trails to hike. Bring water. Amazing trees. Will definitely visit again
A local treasure. I bring here all my guests to see the giant redwoods. Always impressive. Easy access and short walk. Cool even in hot days. A small river at the turning point is a great place for a picnic.
Very nice park, easy to medium difficulty for trails, walk along the creek is nice, seeing the steam train going by is fun, inside of burnt out tree is cool. More areas opened up since the last visit. Added quite a few videos.
Love all the detail markings which trails are dog-friendly and which aren't. Saw a coyote standing in the middle of Meadow trail which is bigger than our dogs so we turned back and check out another trail. Love Pipeline Trail which is well paved. Excellent for wheelchairs and strollers.
Me and my daughter went here and it's a beautiful place for a nature walk. We got a little lost on the way back but it was ok because we got to see the train bridge and the walking bridge across the creek.
Parking is the only down side $10 to park. The trails are easy, river walk is a food one on a hot day to play in the water. Take the whole family and fido.
Beautiful Short or Long Walk or Hike… Would be great if some trees could have a Fact/Story/Interest/Age board explanation, since visitor center has been closed, maybe due to Pandemic.
Was afraid it would be overcrowed with so many campsites but it didn't turn out that way. Beautiful and nice access to Santa Cruz.
Safe, easy & choice of harder trails. Variety of trees, pond to play in water, bridges, visitir center was amazing! Highly recommended for EVERYONE
In my opinion this is one of the most beautiful hikes in the bay area. Easy, 2 hour long loop.
A great and convenient park to experience majestic redwoods. Not crowded and easy trails. The river trail gives access to river beaches that young children can safely enjoy.
I enjoyed myself here for the day. They do have a train but i have no idea where it went. Seems to have a nice snack bar and visitors center but i honestly didn't go in either of them. Its a small little place that xan be done in a single day
Nice, clean, & people were friendly. The bathrooms and Showers we're very clean I was impressed it had hot water etc, etc. I had a good time. Will stay again no doubt about it.
Beutiful place to have nice dinner, I ordered chippino great fish stew with garlick bread delish.
Took a short hike to break up my drive. Loved the smell of the pines/redwoods! It was a worthwhile stop.
Amazing and peaceful. We walked the Redwood Loop trail right before sunset, the "golden hour".
Wish the gift shop was open longer.
