I bring my vehicle to get oil changes here since I bought my vehicle at their location. I trusted that they would let me know when I needed new brakes since that is part of the service. They always marked green so I went with that. Then after a while, I started hearing noises when I would brake. I took it into a local repair shop and I even had to replace my rotors of how bad the brakes were. I came again today to get an oil change, and again they mark everything green when I know that my rear brakes will need to be replaced soon. I let the cashier lady know what was going on and she said they don’t actually inspect the brakes. It’s just a visual and if I wanted them to actually look at them, I would have to let them know. Like really then why do you add brake inspection if you’re not going to actually inspect the brakes. Also, every time I go in, they just look annoyed that they have to help you. This will be my last vehicle that I purchased through them.

I had a positive experience while purchasing my 2020 Ford Escape (2 years ago) and I LOVE my car. I just HATE dealing with the Service Dept.at Heritage Ford. The 2 gals that answer the phones are rude and cut you off. They almost make me feel like I'm inconveniencing them when I have a question or need to reschedule. Not to mention the so called "Service Reps. " They are stoic, have no customer service skills, and no knowledge about cars without their computers. If it wasn't for the free lifetime oil changes, I'd go elsewhere. As it is, I need 2 recalls and they expect me to figure out how to get home (Modesto to Atwater) and what to drive while they have my car. When questioned about the official letter from Ford stating "they would provide a loaner car or rental car for the duration of the recalls, " I was informed abruptly that they don't do loaner cars, " and I didn't even get to finish my sentence about a rental vehicle before the gal cut me off stating "we don't do loaners as we just don't have the man power here. " I'll be calling Ford directly to confirm the details and make them aware of the poor service that I feel I have received since owning this vehicle. Razzari and Price Ford have WAY superior customer service compared to this place and I can comfortably say this, as I've owned vehicles and serviced them at both of said dealerships.

Customer service was terrible I went in asking for a crank relearn and Omar Ramirez made me feel stupid the whole time telling me I was wasting my money and trying to get me to have Ford do a scan on my vehicle after I already told him I have a scanner at home anyways I made an appointment for another day and when I arrived I had to talk to him again and again as soon as I told him I wasn’t getting it looked at by ford and I still wanted to crank relearn his attitude changed and even told me if it doesn’t fix my problem I still have to pay well no duh I asked for a service. I tried telling him why I needed the relearn but he kept walking away from me not ensuring me that he was listening I felt very disrespected today if Omar knew so much about cars he’d be in the garage I wanted to speak with a manager about my experience but I was already fed up do better

I went in on 07/21/22 at 10: 30am you guys have my number

We are traveller. Our f- 250 has a serious electricrial problem.

We are staying local and wanted to go here for help. However, after going through these reviews I get the feeling that you don't care very much about new business. Very typical in America today.

Worst place ever
Give a quite and end up charging me more than expected. With a new tire charge plus a rotation? Im a woman but not stupid
They find a way to charge you if you dont speak up
And im not the only one
Look for another place buddy. We shiuld have the option to not give them stars at all

Have to write a review about the great experience I had picking up our Bronco from Heritage Ford. I placed my reservation for the Bronco on day 1 (way back in July 2020), and due to production timing was finally able to have it built and delivered at the end of July.

Given how rare and sought-after my build spec was (2-door Wildtrak w/all the desirable packages/accessories), Heritage understandably put a dealer-markup on the build by default. After a quick discussion, they removed the ADM and sold it to me at the promised MSRP. This is doing business the right way, props to Heritage Ford.

Fred (I hope i'm remembering your name right) was AWESOME to work with in the finance department. Handled our trade-in and the economics of the deal very well and didn't pressure-sell to us which is very appreciated but did inform us of all of the Ford offerings and their benefits. A+ to him, he's one of the best finance managers I've worked with ever.

Sadly, a drunk driver hit the Bronco after a week of ownership and possibly totaled it (working with insurance now). If we do get the green light to replace, I'll have to contact Heritage again!

Recently bought a brand new vehicle. After a week of driving it, it had some issues and it was towed to their service department. It stayed there for 3 weeks. I was never offered any help or solutions, I had to reach out to them and set something up because I desperately needed a vehicle. They offered me a rental that they would partially pay for and only for 10 days. Including gas over $200 came out of my own pocket to cover those 10 days. When I was told I could get my new car back I raced there because I had a busy day and nearly no time but wanted my new car again. I didn’t have enough time to return the rental that exact day but it was only Tuesday and was told I didn’t have to return it til Friday anyways so I figured it would be fine if I simply returned it the next day on Wednesday. Wednesday morning comes and a service member calls me and rudely states that I should have returned the rental that day and they would not be helping me with the one extra day I took. I explained how no one made me aware of that and I was planning on returning it asap. If they had told me this prior I would have waited the extra day when I had a little more time to pick up my new vehicle and return the rental. Keep in mind my new car was in service for 3 weeks and they had only partially covered 7 days of the rental. Their service department needs to work on communicating things properly to make the patrons aware of situations and charges. And the attitude I was given was not necessary especially after having to deal with all this for the past three weeks. Extremely dissatisfied and unhappy with heritage Fords service department.

The experience and pleasantness of Eddy Alvarez (sales), Johnson Vadigar (Sales Manager/Lead) and Fred Enwiya (Finance Mgr) made our over 1 hour drive to Heritage Ford well worth it. The fair trade in amount and price for our new Ford Escape created a no haggle encounter that ended with my wife and I having no buyers remorse and being very happy with our purchase.

Heritage Ford Modesto has an awful service department. It is a disservice. They have a service writer (O. J.) who is "less than honest". He will say one thing by phone, then change his story after they have your vehicle. I do not recommend you trust these folks to service your vehicle, unless you don't mind being hosed. They do not stand behind their substandard work. Your vehicle will be better serviced by the Three Stooges. WHAT A DUMP!

Juan Leon is an excellent sales representative of Heritage Ford. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and made my purchase of a new car a seamless experience. He promptly returned my texts and phone calls, and if he didn't know the answer to one of my many questions, he found someone who did. The other members of the staff at Heritage Ford were also great. I was very impressed with the dealership. I highly recommend Heritage Ford to anyone interested in purchasing a car!

Unbelievably outstanding, "Take note": 4 days prior taking my Ford Taurus to Heritage Ford, I was experiencing problems with my Audio and Phone Sync system. I tried better than half dozen places to correct my issues. Not only did these places fail, their knowledge was limited and I began to have major concerns. Being from Oakdale, I decided to reach out to the reliable Heritage Ford in Modesto. My first impression was: when I placed a call to the service department and explained my issues in my concerned voice! Their response was, can you bring the car in 7: 50 a.m. "Wow", I jumped on it right away. During and after the service was completed. I was astonished by the proficiency and quality of the service. AND to my amazement, "I WASN'T" taken to the cleaners. Driving home back to Oakdale, I felt like a youngster with a smile from ear to ear. Way to go Heritage Ford, Modesto.

3/31/2022 @ around 3: 18pm

The lady who answers phone calls for the service department was rude
On 3/31/2022 I was getting an oil change and When I called the service department at 3: 18pm I said “hi, I was wondering if my car is ready for pick up? ” With a rude tone she said” I don’t know, I don’t know your last name. ”
Don’t know why she had to be rude like that.

Pretty lousy, called about service and a recall. Guy was clearly irritated he had to answer the phone, didn't want to look it up without recall # even though I had vin#. Recall # only gives you that particular recall, ford in the next town looked up with vin and found a total of 3 recalls. Asked about ac service and would not be given a price, a bunch of run around even though I asked specifically about ac recharge/service. How do you not quote a price? Transferred to a voicemail at the end of it all. Frustrated, I tried to communicate through website chat and here I am 10 hours later with no follow up. It took 5 seconds for the ford dealership down the road to line me up and quote me on ac. I don't need a response from Heritage, I truly hope reviews like this get brought to the attention of the lousy staff and result in some changes. I get it, good people and workers in general are in short supply, but every place is dealing with that. Figure it out guys. By the way, this is my work vehicle, 1 of 8 vehicles that will now never be serviced at Heritage

My name is Holland not Erik, I work for an engine distributor as a dealer rep, not a mortgage company. You do not have my vin because your team would not take it and this vehiclecame from Nebraska, so you dont have it on file. At no point did I become "irate" and I never claimed to know the owner, I have never set foot on that place. You either have your wires crossed or have intentionally compiled a list of nonsense in an attempt to negate my initial review. I've left 2 bad reviews in my life, I don't take joy in it.feeling ok about this one though. This shouldn't be a fight. Again, the review was an attempt to bring issues to light so maybe your team can fix things, I didn't want a response and certainly wasn't expecting one this crazy.

I was on a mission to buy a new car and it began and ended here. On Saturday the 30th of January I stopped by here to look at the new car offerings (an Escape in particular, though was curious about the Edge) I was greeted by Armando, very friendly, non pushy sales man. He asked me if I knew what I was looking for, and I told him I was interested in an Escape, but that I'd not seen one in person and just wanted to look at them and kind of get a feel for the size of them etc. He said his wife drove an Escape and that she was very happy with it. After looking in the new lot, he also suggested I have a look in the previously owned section.

That's when I saw her. (She would be Phasma and mine, but more on that in a bit!) A beautiful white escape with the titanium trim level. She was near the street with the big balloons tied to her and just a beautiful suv!

I walked around, took a couple of pictures of her and got Armando's card, telling him I'd be back when ready to test drive (I had 4 models of cars I wanted to get a feel for etc)

Now my family has used this car lot for nearly 40 years.

I went and looked at a few other cars/suvs and did some test drives Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Then it was back to Heritage because I'd not sat in or test driven this beautiful SUV.

Armando was off that day, I thought about calling his cell phone but hey! Everyone deserves a day off! But I was greeted by Irene who was wrapping up some business then said she'd show me the car. Well, we went for a test drive, I even had her drive (so I could get the passenger experience and push buttons etc)

I didn't want to wait anymore! This beauitful car had only 10k miles on it, does EVERYTHING (I swear it can do my laundry, I just havent found the right button lol) and I got it for a great price.

We did the paperwork and Franklin (he was great by the way) explained the paperwork (this was a new experience for me) he also explained my options with no upsell on anything - I ended up getting to extend my warranty by 3 years for minimal cost. I appreciated him taking his time explaining certain things and forms.he helped it go smoothly.

Overall, it was a great experience. My only advice would be to keep in contact once the deal is wrapping up. Silence or getting put on hold for a long time when we call in with a question is concerning.

So: look for Armando and Irene (and Franklin too!) and you'll be alright!

I had the pleasure of working with Irene on building our dream F-150. She is an absolute pleasure to work with, and is everything I wished for in a car sales person. Not pushy, knowledgable, respectful and incredibly professional.
