The lady that helped us was exceptional and very nice. She even tried to get an upgrade for us just because we asked.

Had a reservation and waited to check in only to find out they had no cars available. Waited with costumer that rented from Thrifty outside as both rental company brought cars one by one as it was returned. It took us over 2 hours.

It quoted us a totally different number when we got there. We paid double of what we were quoted.

A trip that was going to cost $380 ended up being $800. Hertz is definitely like most other car places a scam and look only to pull the most money from your pockets as possible. A great representation of the state of California in general. Do yourself a favor and do not use Hertz. Astonishes me that a company that scams and treats it’s customers this badly still has a standing in business in general. I promise you, your original receipt will DOUBLE upon return.

LAX Customer Service Desk (rental lot) person: If you are so unhappy with your job, please find something else. I will always respond to you in the same way you address me. In this case, I can be just as surly as you.

Good all around experience. Felt we didn't need insurance but didn't want to take chance on honeymoon. Simple quick return. Ended nicely with friendly & cheerful Hertz bus driver Sharon (Beautiful) who dropped us off at LAX Terminal

Worst place of our usa trip, most unfriendly welcome and service because our card did not swipe, customer service then typed in manuelly and after 3hours we got our car that you have to find yourself somewhere on the parking

Got a parking violation today for 27/07/2018. (07/27/2018). We had to appeal with in 21 days. 17/10/2018 (10/27/2018) is a little bit longer than 21 days. To appeal hertz we had until 16/10/2018 (10/16/2018) YESTERDAY what a joke.
Hertz will not be getting another penny from me. I hire cars abroad several times a year.
I would accept $140 voucher on my next rental as a sorry

There was an issue with the first rental car I took from the lot before I even left, I had to turn around at the gate and go all the way back to the lot and drop the car back off and find a new one because it was not marked to leave it on the lot. Once I got the second rental car, everything has been smooth since. Very friendly staff, even gave me some water for my drive.

If you forget an item in the car don't expect to get any help from Customer Service. Other than that my experience was good.

Tee at the Honeycomb Hideout made our check-in stress-free, despite ending up at the wrong Hertz location (we booked on Expedia.)

She was so jovial and genuinely happy to help. Tee was a gem! Thanks!

Clean vehicles that were ready to drive off the lot. Unfortunately, most weren't my preference of vehicle.

Arrived after a rough flight and very long night.although extremely irritated when I arrived I left in a far better mood! The whole process was painless and easy, the person at the desk was very nice and was in and out in less than 10 minute. The customer service there was great considering I’ve had horrible luck renting cars in LA. This will now be the only place I come to when visiting the area!

Rental buses take forever! It's not uncommon to see every other competitors buses multiple times before a hertz bus. The lines in the building get long too. Try to use the kiosks instead

I pre paid for the rental car a month ago of $65. Said my credit card would not swipe. In which it got swiped at airport. Never again with hertz. Also to never pay with Hertz and you do not get money back
