Phone number on Google is not up to date. There is no number to reach them by.

I was unable to call. I got there at 4: 30 when they were supposedly open until, but they told me they closed at 4: 00.

I then had to take the train 50 miles back to where I live and tomorrow will have to come back by train.

The employee didn't seem to care, and was not motivated to tell me whether I should cancel my reservation. He actually seemed to be smiling that I was so unhappy.

They make you wait for 2-3 hours when you go at the proper pickup time you reserved.

They have such a frustrating system because I waited in the line for about an hour. Then I wondered and asked how many people are left in the line. He told me that there were 7 people left. Then asked me if I am there for a gas car. He told me that he only has Teslas left and no gas cars are available.

Why can’t he see the details of my reservation and literally tell me in advance that they do not have gas cars left so that I wouldn’t waste time waiting in the line. They would have made me wait for longer if I didn’t get curious and asked.

They are not even beginners at this point. They just don’t care and seem very successful scamming people

This place has the worse customer service ever, I tried to rent a car twice, two days in a row, the first day I had the appointment at 10: 00am I checked in at 10: 00 and they made me wait for 2 hours at the time was 12: 00 and I left, the second day the same thing I had my appointment at 1: 00pm I waited 2 hours again to be call and when the representative started to helping me, he asked me for my credit card, I told him I had it in my phone, in the wallet app, so he refused this method of payment, I have to explain to him that I didn’t receive the physical card yet that it was on my way, then he just returned to me my driver license and he said if don’t have I can’t help you, instead of asking if I have another credit card in my possession, to my concern he was rude not showing good manners on how to treat a customer so I wouldn’t recommend to anyone to try to rent a vehicle in this place, also the pep boys stuff ask me to leave the waiting room because is not for Hertz customers, very rude people are there. So this was experience in this business that’s why I’ll give to them 1 star.

This place was great to me. You must give a deposit and 1st weeks rental which is under stable. You can’t rent cars day to day basis. Everyone complaining here check your car before leaving not their fault you realized it after leaving. Read the rules folks.

Hello to everyone eso reads this, I just want to give my experience about this Hertz location first time I rent a car ther I had the worst experience ever and I say I will never come back but circumstances make me come back abd this time was amazingly different because I was approached by Jeannet I think she is the only female working there. Well at first when she call me in I already had my mean face but she immediately make me relax and feel better with her gently greeting and available to answer any questions super knowledgeable of her products and that make me feel so good because she knew exactly what I was talking about.
So she got me a car and clearly told me everything I needed to know before I left.
So say thank you to her for making me believe again on Hertz.
And definitely, I will be using them, but only if she still working there because the last time it was a latino guy helping, and he was so rude and didn't show any sympathy for anyone.
The location I am talking about is at Panorama City inside Pep Boys.

The uber hertz totally scammer. The vehicle for rent that they provide is always dirty inside. They trying to refuse your return when you wanna return the vehicle before the rental period and at 4pm they dont want to accept your return and trying to cheat you and charge for another day.
The Hertz management need to take action for this location otherwise its going worse.

You experience the worst service in this branch. I rented a Tesla car for work at Uber and picked it up and went home and noticed that one of the cameras was not working. When I got home, I saw that one of the tires was deflated. The next day, I went to this branch to change the car, they delayed me for two hours and said that they will not change the car, and if you want to return it, you have to pay for one week's rent. I was confused and they said that we only repair the tire. I was delayed for an hour and the system did not accept that the tire be repaired. In the end, they told me to come tomorrow to change the car. Now I don't know what to do with the loss of one day and the money I paid. I will wait until tomorrow. This review continues…
So far, I have lost two days and they charged me $530 for one week's Tesla rental, plus $200 as a deposit. (I feel that this method is a scam from Uber drivers. I rented a car so that I could work. It has been two days now that I have lost my money and time.) I went to the Van Nuys branch yesterday morning, and they agreed to replace the car. I waited for about two hours in a small hall, it was raining heavily, the employee of Pep Boys came and said you can't be here, you have to wait outside. I realized that the turn was not respected, but I waited until they called me, I went to Mr. Lewis, finally he changed the car and said that this is the last time I will do such a thing. The car was healthy, but it was dirty, and the rear had been punctured and it had not been cleaned, and it smelled too much. I informed them about the vomiting and the foul smell inside the car, and they came to look at it and said it was the same and left. I am left with an undesirable car and according to Louise I cannot change the car.

The customer service in this branch is zero and they have confused me. I have rented a Tesla car and it is not allowed to work at the airport, I call Uber, it says to call the rental company, I come to this branch, it says to call Uber. Zero customer service. I have decided to buy a car soon and give the Tesla to them because it is not affordable. I have to pay $503 a week plus the charging fee for the car.

Just awful customer service horrible the lady that works their act like she owns hertz so rude she is awful! She’s the rudest person I have ever ran into in customer service Shame on hertz for allowing her to stay, the other 2 ehhh they are not friendly either but not near as bad as the older lady that works their she’s the rudest person

First of all, Pepboys service station guys are scamming this Hertz Uber rentals & Uber drivers.

Its not front desk guys but the service manager at the yard is the one who is doing it.

During lunch breaks when most of the mechanics are gone thats whe he sprung into the actions discreetly.

Pepboys get commissions by replacing tires. So what they do is they lies on inspections or plug the nails for him to get money and promotions.

So it needs to be replaced. That's why not so much tire repairs instead.

Another scam he does is to cut the engine belts a little bit but partially.

So about 1 week later belt start to make loud noises to snap off so it needs to be serviced at Pepboys.

Also, he jabs the long screwdrivers into rear struts.
What it does is to break the oil seals. Obviously, oil start to leaks slowly then about 2 days later the tires starts to touch the body every time you are go over the bumps.

What does that trick do is so because tries rubbing the cars body each time on slight bumps so that's gonna wears tries much faster than normal. I mean much faster.

They don't care really about customers because Hertz has no idea, and hertz's under constructed fleets management company just give them go signs to replace them without knowing what they are doing. They knows
each drivers doesn't needs to pay for the repair also.

Therefore, it leads to over all higher maintenance costs that resulting higher rental costs to each Uber drivers who rents thru Hertz.

As for the Hertz Uber rental service review, If you can't see either Michael, Carlos, John, Johnathan then, one way or another you'll get really screwed.

Worst service ever. They give you the cat all dirty and expect you to return clean if not you are looking at 500 dollar fine. Then they proceeded to tell you that that's uber policy.

Scammers. Not sure if it's private owned or if they get commission but pure scammers. Went in for a midsize they gave me a tiny car. I asked if its considered midsize they said yes. Surprise it's not. I go to return it 2 days later they said they have to charge the full 7 days. I call hertz and they say I agreed to the extra $180 charge because I didn't drop off the car at there location and had them come pick it up. Will be contacting my lawyer, my credit card company. And filling complaints against them. Pure scammers. When I was trying to talk to her she just turned her head and ignored me.

Terrible service as much as you can expect when dealing with Uber bad attitude and rude, if your going to pick up a vehicle consider other places I had to spend $200 driving there in what else? A Uber just to be told that they didn't see anyone at that time with an appointment mind you plus wanted to charge me way more than the quote rude guy sleezy place.

Bait and switch con artists. Made a reservation for a gas car and all they had were teslas at twice the price. The don’t even have a phone number to call and confirm your reservation. Stay away.

I wonder how this guy working here change the turns, I had an appointment at 1pm and after 2 hours waiting one guy who came after me, talked to him privately and he took my turn, if you guys dont have reliable guys to have work for you, just shut that door, I came at 1 pm on Friday July 1st and wrote my name on the list, I dont know what that guy after me told him that he changed my turn, what I saw and experienced here was illegal.

Had an appointment at 10am got there and signed in at 9: 30am it’s now 11am and they are seeing everyone ahead of me except for me and keep telling me to wait so rude can’t believe these people are still in business Uber should really look to another partner

Have these people ever heard of a phone and how to pick one up? I've been calling all day trying to get someone to answer questions so that I'm not hung out to dry when it comes to renewing my car. I am 63 and it's hard as hell to find work when you're my age and this smells like an Uber exchange leasing service disaster to me. That went under because of poor organization and mismanagement. What is it with Uber and car leasing programs?

THIS IS THE WORSE RENTAL PLACE IN TERMS OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAD A RESERVATION MADE TODAY I SHOWED UP ON TIME AND THE RUDE STAFF TOLD ME THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE A CAR AVAILABLE SO WHY I WAS ABLE TO BOOK THE RESERVATION AND ONCE I ARRIVED SUDDENLY THERE WASN'T ANY VEHICLE. THEY WERE SO MEAN THE LADY AND THE GENTLEMAN ON DUTY THEY MADE ME SCAN THE BAR AND NO ONE WOULDN'T SHOW UP TO ASSIST ME. SUDDENLY HE CAME AND WENT TO HIS COMPUTER TO TELL ME THERE WASN'T ANY CAR. PLEASE PEOPLE WHO MANAGE THIS BRANCH DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT
THESE PEOPLE WILL MAKE CUSTOMERS TO TAKE BUSSINES SOMEWHERE ELSE. I'M RENTING WITH AVIS.

I rented their car last week and was told 400 deposit which I would get back but when I called to extend my weekly contract was told I had to go their physically and they took a 1: 30 hr lunch break
All this time I’m waiting under the scorching sun anywho the manager Jackie says they don’t use Bank of America and later I got an alert from my bank saying it a suspicious activity.
They made me pay for the previous week and told me they couldn’t process the following week unless I used a different bank and closed down my contract and Ofcourse couldn’t use their car anymore.
Something suspicious is not right with these people and wouldn’t recommend anyone to rent with them. They are so unprofessional and very rude. As for the deposit they claimed they didn’t process it and I can’t track it from my bank transactions. I’m so frustrated and think these guys are running a scheme nowonder they have lots of cars in the parking people can’t rent from them. As for the teslas they rent at $500 per week yet Uber says it’s 367!
