Hertz Car Rental - Manchester Grand Hyatt HLE

Cancelled our vehicle pick up less than 24 hours from booking. Do not go here, unreliable and zero helpful customer service when something goes wrong.

So many people in queue with reservations and no cars available apparently, one desk clerk working alone for car pick ups and returns and car checks, not sure about the other Hertz locations but this one definitely definitely to avoid!

Dozen of people with reservations and no cars available, no manage to talk to, the manager doesn’t answer calls, desk clerk had no helpful info except turn people away. Same terrible experience I had here before pandemic. Avoid that location!

never pick you’re call when is time to due payment plus they will overcharge and if u go to there location you will wait forever at least 6 hours they just careless. And also if you have any question wants ask them they will be like “don’t rent from us”

This place is terrible! You make a reservation but if you don’t do it three hours in advance they can’t get you a car? So why do they let me make a reservation? This is terrible service.

Don't rent from any Hertz agency in the United States or anywhere in the world. They scam and cheat their customers. Go to somebody else more honest and trustworthy, because hertz they're not. So if you rent from them, don't say that you haven't been warned, so beware. It's a big risk with hertz. So good luck if you go with this con stealing company

The rental agent was working alone and was super pleasant, patient and helpful. When I got the receipt, I was given a coupon discount that I wasn’t aware of! Thank you!
Plus, she gave me a cool red mustang to drive!

No attendant though we had a reservation. No n answers the phone. You can "live chat" but they don't answer your questions.

Not many locations to rent from. When you give a negative comment, Bob says nothi g about fixing the problem or a way to contact him to make things right. Bad reviews are true. Go to Enterprise.

This is an un-staffed pick up and drop off location and I do not recommend renting from this location. I have been a gold member for many years and this was the worse experience (and I've had cars that I had to have replaced because of bad tires etc). I suggest that you rent from the primary office or the airport. The office that services this location is badly understaffed. The car I rented had not been cleaned/sanitized. If I was not already late for my appointment (because the car was delivered about 50 minutes late) I would not have accepted the car. Aside from not being clean, the car did not sound good when driven.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ! Terrible customer service. They placed me on the do not rent list because someone else used my ID number to rent a car & now HERTZ is tell me the only way I can get off the list is to get a new drivers license from the DMV! I didn’t do anything wrong! #buyerbeware #boycottHertz

Honestly the worst experience of renting a car I’ve ever had, it blows my mind how much they don’t care. I tried multiple locations throughout San Diego and I will never rent from Hertz again. You will get to you destination faster just by walking then trying to get a car from hertz. On top of all that when we finally got our car they gave us a car with a leak in the tire “car was brand new about too” and charged us for it

Car reservation was booked in advance and placed on waiting list.previous renters failed to return cars in time in addition to overbooking since they were only 2 cars were expected to be returned. Long wait time for customer service at the desk. We will not book a rental service with Hertz at this location.

Update: we were be able to get rental 2 hours later after our scheduled pick up time with upgraded car type and additional incentives for the inconvenience.
