I have rented cars here on multiple occasions and despite the staff shortage and the business of the place everyone is always smiling.
The quality of service provided by Hertz employee Nick was amazing.
He was nice enough to arrange a car within a few minutes and told me all the necessary details and made sure my ride was comfortable. Thanks Nick.
I had a very positive experience with Hertz Car Rental. I made a reservation the night before. I got a good online price.and the staff was super friendly.
The staff was super friendly and was able to get me to my car quickly. The Chevrolet Malibu I was given ran good and comfortable enough. The return of the car was effortless, again because the staff was terrific. The final bill was lower than expected because I had apparently returned the car an hour earlier than I scheduled. Awesome.
It's a good enough hertz, located right next to a car wash AND stupidly overpriced gas station, so you don't have to look for one when you return the car
The assigned pick up time was at noon; however, the store closed at noon. Coming on time meant not getting our vehicle. The Hertz customer line does not function and after 15 phone calls that never got through to a human, we gave up and went with another company without receiving our vehicle. We tried to make this right with Hertz after our trip, but could not. I would recommend you look anywhere else for a vehicle.
Awesome service at this Hertz! I ran in on a Saturday an hour past closing due to my mistake on the office hours, however I was helped and even given an upgraded car. This saved me more than I can express as I just moved to the area and was in dire need of a vehicle. I will be returning here for future car rentals for myself and family/friends. Nothing but kindness and helpfulness from this location.
My boyfriend and I are visiting from Canada and decided to rent a car with Hertz. We found it very easy to book a car and even extend our booking on certain days through the phone. We found Tony, Nick and Tibor to be very helpful and they made our experience much more enjoyable. The car that we were given was great and very clean. Thank you for the great experience and shoutout again to Tony for sharing your recommendations of things to do around San Diego!

This place is horrible! No one ever answers the phone and they only ever have one employee working. Hertz we are canceling our business contract with you. If this is an actual business it’s a joke.
Understaffed and the staff they have are rude. They never have the cars you want either. I won't be using hertz anymore.
Awful rental experience from the get go, I had made a reservation through a third party company and I had made a reservation for San Diego airport. I understand third party companies don’t always get it right but if HERTZ is going yo work with these companies there cop out can’t always be well you didn’t rant from us and this has been happening a lot. Long story short, I thought I had a reservation at the airport, went there and was told take an Uber and go to the location listed on your confirmation which didn’t say if was offsite of the airport because they couldn’t help me it almost seemed like everyone that helped me hated that’s I rented it from a third party. If the reps can’t remain neutral when it comes to third party company then HERTZ needs to stop working with them I Had to take an Uber 30min away from the airport I get the the location, I notice there is no drop box (never heard of a rental car place not having a night drop off box) I had to switch my flight in the morning of 3/21/22 to accommodate THEM to return the car. I was told I could drop off the car anytime before the closed by the rep (that’s seemed to be newer because she had to call a supervisor on how to add International insurance upon other trees) when I returned the car at 2: 50pm (before they closed at 5pm) I was told I needed yo pay for an additional day!) I was told something different from the rep and now I’m being penalized? ! So I had to switch flights, Had to take another Uber back to the airport, and on top of that had to pay for additional day. Thanks Hertz top notch service for sure. Never again
I read a tone of negative reviews. Ignore them. Carrisa was very pleasant and helpful. I highly recommend this hertz because of the staff
