10 Well it started out like Romeo and Juliet and ended up like a Greek tragedy.
First rental was good value and service from Sophia great. Then the cost went up nearly double and they no longer were open on Sat morning. No more hertz for me.
Friendly and fast service! The car I got was in great shape and was exactly what I needed.
Worse experience I got from the promises of the counter person. I should have them put down in writing
Bad customer service with Hertz! The office manager Promised to give a tank of gas free due to car size availability and I trusted them! In return, no notes made and I got overcharged! 300+ dollars for one day rental (8 hours actually). Customer Service is not helping or treating you with respect as well.
I hate to say it but this place is NO Good! The horror stories are true I was a victim. They rented me a car through insurance after a car accident then called an investigation on a so called stolen car, I returned the car immediately! There was a man the manager at the time he was nice. I called back to see if we could correct the past issues and the new manager a woman after explaining what happened acted like oh well, not good atal I asked if she could reassure me these issues would not happen again and she brushed it off like it didn't matter, Avoid this place if you want a peaceful life thanks world!
Excellent option for a car rental in Palo Alto. We had not before used Hertz and we found them to be professional, and the cars are a notch better than the rest. The rental more than met our expectations and Patrick was very much to the point, didn’t try to sell features like most other companies and we appreciate that. Will be our new go to car rental, a grade or two above the rest in the area.
I've worked with Hertz in Palo Alto before and they always have really nice cars (even ones with lumbar support) and I feel like their price are fair and they maintain their vehicles very well. Way to go Hertz!

Changed location of my reservation and changed it to the wrong day. When I tried to call they did not answer their phone.
