I usually love this place! I come 2-3x a month. But recently got a new manager or something. I rented a car and turned it in a day late. Got charged an extra day AND a late return fee even tho when I returned it the second day was hours before it was technically due for my second day. That’s never happen to be with any rental company ever. I’ve gotten late return fees or an extra day. Or at least charge me the late return if I drop off the 1 hr after my scheduled arrival time but not both. Called hertz corporate and they couldn’t do anything for me about the fee, I don’t care about being charged an extra day but Wow. Very shocked. Even other hertz locations have never double whammied me before and sometimes I keep the cars for many days and never a late fee. So be careful renting here if you’re not sure how long you’ll need a vehicle, I guess they’re sticklers now. **i do want to say that the day I was supposed to return was a day they were closed so it’s not like they missed out on business because they couldn’t flip the car, if anything they made money off my extra day they wouldn’t have made before** I wouldnt even be writing this review if corporate gave me my $12 back.

We arrived a quarter of an hour before the lunch break and were poorly received.
After handing over the keys I realized that we had not carried out an inventory of the car and were unable to obtain a duplicate of the contract.
I advise you not to pick up the car after 11: 30 a.m. But rather from 9 a.m. Or from 1 p.m.
Please note that you are required to collect the car within two hours of your reservation time.
For my part, I will take photos of the vehicle to ensure that nothing will be billed to me afterwards.

Arrived around 11h35 am, the agent was busy with another person, then disappeared for 15 mn, when he came back around 11h50 am he told me he didn't have time to give me the car because he was going to have lunch and i have to come back at 1pm. He was quite insistent that i should have come at 9 am since my reservation was starting at 9.
Very poor service here and not professionnal.
Fortunately, when i came back later, the manager was in charge and was very efficient and took care of everything very kindly
When giving back the car, i arrived at 4pm (office closes at 5), be aware that the employee takes one of his brakes from 4 to 4: 20pm.
If you choose this agency, take some margins and be very parient (or ask for the manager)

I was told by Hertz attendant that if I choose prepaid fuel and drove few miles I. E. 2.0 miles I would only be charged by mile- not full tank $90.00. I returned car and only drove 20 miles however I was charged the full tank $90.00 and there is no way to reach a client service human to go over the situation. I submitted a claim online and got back an with the same invoice -fuel charge. Disappointing. 1st time I have issues w Hertz.

Updating my review to the 5 starts I think they deserve, after manager who initially provided the vehicle to me at check in resolved an issue the other staffer wouldn't address when I dropped off the vehicle. Convenient location and quick process. Thank you.

The man left us without our car because he had to go to lunch. Worse costumer service in LA. Went to enterprise and had no issues.

FRAUD ALERT At time of review its 2.8 stars which is already very poor. At return of a initially broken car - WINDOW does NOT rool, hertz return says despite CDW insurance from hertz its now your liability if you have no picture it did not work at rental time. Complete fraud. How does a pic even document a broken window? Commercial fraud. If accumulated needs DA investigation

Similar to other reviews on here, I booked a car online then was called less than an hour before the reservation start time and was told there were no cars available, so I had to cancel all plans for the day which included a site visit for work. The most upsetting thing, is that I tried to call their office 3 times to verbally confirm the reservation, but no one picked up. It seems that something needs to be done to improve the online bookings. The phone encourages (almost forces) customers to use it, but its not a dependable system. I would not willingly use Hertz again for rentals.

Would have been a good experience if their software system acknowledged the credit card I used to book the vehicle. It didn’t so I had to go away and get another card. All ok after that. Prestige SUV was fab. Fuel full, clean and good condition. Office is shut between 12 and 1pm.

Amending review down to 1 star as they have taken a payment out of my account for a local tax twice. Ok to pay it once but now I have to chase them for a refund.

I don’t know about reservation because I only used it to return the car. Jeffery was super helpful. I missed an item in the car and he helped me get that back easily.

Used this place twice, both times they’ve cancelled or changed my reservation last minute, the 2nd time having no cars available at all, cancelling on the morning of the reservation, which was made months earlier. Ruined our trip, avoid.

The manager is in charge remotely and there is no one to solve problems and there are so many, since the vehicles are poorly maintained. 3 times in a raw my plans were ruined completely because the cars become unusable.
Twice I got a car with empty tank, but even though I took a picture of the dashboard to prove it, I had to pay for it.
The road side assistance is not functioning and once I had to rescue my self from the mountains after I was almost killed due to a mechanical problem in the stirring system. Of course no one from the branch took responsibility, despite the promise frim the manager.

You can't get anyone at the desk or on the phone during business hours. We have been waiting between 3 and 4pm and nobody is showing up.
